yeah, we just locked up our key players at fair to below market value. not sexy, but it's actually outstanding. i'm sure the clippers will end up winning the offseason championship for the sixth consecutive year, though.

    Bros reuniting again.

Wouldn't have minded him here but doesn't seem like either party had much... if any interest in that.

Potential..potential...folks seem to be betting on these kid's potential ceilings. Sounds crazy to be coughing out this kind of cash so early to me. I guess we'll see what the landscape of the league, looks like 3 seasons from now. There may be a lot of regrets looking back on it, or these kids could be the next superstars of the NBA.

I think sometimes guys are pushed to make these hot takes because it's what sells in media

I follow Hoop Collective with him, Windy and McMahon. A few days ago Windy started entertaining the idea of Green to Sac. That picked up and was a theme for a couple days in every news outlet.
Yesterday in the pod he was like "Green staying was a certainty a week before the FA started" lol
It's their job, they have to say stuff that makes people follow, discuss and stay engaged

His shooting was so poor here it cost him like 13 million dollars, but you know he’s gonna hit like 8 threes against us when we play the Bucks

kinda bummed we didnt retain Bamba or Beasley for a S&T, but I guess with the FO history of wanting to save money it couldnt be any other way.

Damn, great pickup by the Bucks. He's gonna average over 3 triples a game

great pickup for the bucks at that price. i'd honestly have preferred to bring beasley back at that price than add another vet min center, tbh.

I would do both. But definitely value another backup big over anything else.
But also prefer Beasley over any potential buyout, our team would be well constructed enough that nothing in that market would disrupt it

btw, this is the garbage narrative i'm talking about with lillard. just not tethered to reality.

why when it's charles barkley, it's his fault? maybe dame should have played a lick of defense, ever?

cool story, bro. maybe portland's saving dame from himself by keeping him from doing the same in miami?

that is, until he wanted exactly the same thing everyone else did because he's the same as everyone else and not special.

direct quote from jesus lillard, just weeks ago. luckily, he found the solution: demand a trade to a team with no assets and give them the leverage to trade their junk for you. loyal win!

the grammarian in me is unsurprised by the above...anyway...

just so f***ing rich. he never does this (except when he does)! and, idiot: his leverage was NOT signing the extension. THAT WAS THE LEVERAGE!

he also didn't seem like the player to demand a trade to a specific asset-poor destination to play with two stars who made the finals without him twice in three years, though, right?

the consequences for his allegiance is 1/3 of a billion dollars.

anyway, 8 thumbs down to this pandering piece of bs.

…oddly enough all the love we are getting is weird to me. Lol.

but we can always be sure Bontemps won’t let reality get in the way of his Laker hate.

Lol, it’s hard for me to call Lillard “loyal”, it’s why I always put it in quotes. He stayed there because they could give him the most money, he chose the money over competing, just like Melo in NY, Beal in Washington, and many others. There’s zero wrong with that, just don’t call it loyalty, the media is silly a lot of the time.
