Carter/Gordon splitting the MLE shouldn't be too bad. Both are undersized shooting guards that could play alongside our oversized point guards I'm Reaves and JHS. We are already solid at forward with James, Hachimura, Christie, Vanderbilt, and Lewis. We would just need to find back up bigs with the vet minimum.

Don’t think the Pistons were being linked to any of our guys, but it’s still to our benefit the more that any cap space dries up around the league.

They weren't, but any team in on Kuz I pencil in as a team who'd consider Rui

    Updated cap #s

Yeah- most of us are just beyond tired of hearing his name linked to the Lakers. As long as LeBron is in the Purple and Gold, these rumors and chatter regarding Irving will always resurface.

Well...good shooters get worse in LA. So maybe bad shooters get...better?

That wouldn’t be good… we have guards and we just drafted 2. We need a solid big that can play the 5 most nights. A big that can protect the rim and hit a three or two a game.

Harden is way up there on my all time Do Not Like List, but he's got a way to go to reach the rarified air of my dislike for Danny Ainge as a player.

He was notoriously negative on Lonnie (as was I truthfully), and that was wrong.

So… run it back but this time replacing Schröder with Shake Milton and TBJ with Cam Reddish?

    Wouldn’t be great IMO

Was it though? Lonnie started off the season great, shooting the ball at a high level and defending pretty well too. Then he got hurt, his shooting and defense dropped off, and he (rightfully) fell out of the rotation when we brought in DLo, Beasley, Vando and Rui. He was not playing well at the time. When Beasley went south Ham maybe should have brought Lonnie back sooner, but it was fair to say that Lonnie was not performing well after the great start to the season. Of course he came up huge at the very end of the regular season and in the Warriors series.
