But they lost most of their team. They don't have a playmaker anymore and Dirk's just at his end as Kobe. The only bright spot on their team is Parsons who is streaky at best.
Yeah I get that and I still think we're more of a viable option than the Mavs in terms of the roster and fit for LMA. But they are an attractive destination for FA's. Seems like they're always in the mix, every year.
According to 82games.com his percent minutes played at center has been trending down. For a team that traded their starting C, lost their backup C in FA, Duncan playing < 30 minutes a game and them only having the min to get a C in FA if LMA signed.... It's safe to say that LMA is playing a lot of minutes at C over the course of the season. It's almost unavoidable given the situation.
Me too Add a caron butler and were pretty good Russ Kobe Caron LA Biyombo Clarkson Brown Nance Randle Upshaw
Well lakers got their meeting. It's either gonna be Aldridge saying nope but in a face to face manner or will actually listen and see what the lakers can do to woo him in. Which the lakers should had done in the first place. Yeah talk about Hollywood and glamour nonsense but talk more about basketball
Possibly. I love the kid. But with Clarkson's emergence and Kobe back and resigning key 2nd string guards it would have still been easier to build a squad around the the big man who can consistently score down low. We could have been a bully ball team any time needed and been fast enough with Black if necessary for the small ball teams.
You can't compare Russell and Clarksons game. Ones a pure passer and shooter and the other is a slasher. They can play together once Kobe leaves
We really need to ask for a straight-forward answer from LMA in this second meeting. Whether he's committed or not. We can ill-afford to have this drag out any longer.
