Don't trust what the media is saying. I think LMA had the first meeting and met with the teams he is serious about. Now, it is round two (more in depth meetings) so he can make his decision. This is likely his last big contract and he wants to perform his due diligence.
How much money do they have tied up in Bosh? S&T? That would be cruel after Bosh stayed in Miami instead of signing with Houston.
Hilarious if it was actualy S.W.A.G. They gave him one of those obnoxious canvas bags you get at conventions filled with Laker lanyards, Laker pencils, Laker dental floss...
I don't why this is not being talked about, but with LMA reportedly hesitant to play PF, why do the Spurs and Mavs have a better chance than we do? Duncan and Dirk are PF's. We can offer him a starting spot at PF. The other two teams can not. We are still in this.
Yea i know i was just thinking that aince there was an agreement in place that it wasnt possible but i think that since he'd be going there anyway it could work
Duncan can and does play C a lot. Nothing about the Mavs makes sense though, which is why the fact that they can make a good pitch while the Lakers can't is so infuriating.
They've already signed Dragic to a $90 million deal. And they haven't even signed Wade yet. I'm not sure what Riley has up his sleeve.
idk but I think Riley will tell LMA that Bosh doesn't mind playing center. Also they might truly be alright with letting Wade go with a lineup of: Dragic Winslow Deng LMA Bosh Whiteside coming off the bench to play a 6th man role
Miami can only get him in a S & T, while renouncing the rights to Wade. TLDR: Currently capped out (Dragic + Winslow takes to 66 million) --> D-Wade cap hold is 22 million (88 million) --> Must trade 18 million out --> Drop Wade's rights.
I heard driving today teams are mandated to spend within 90% of cap. They were talking about what the cap is now and what it is going to be.
Highly unlikely As bad as that extension was for kobe you dont disrespect him like that. Sounds like something a douche like cuban would do I'd hope we still have some dignity left
OK, I thought Splitter was their C. I'd have to say the Mavs are an attractive team. They have one of the most enthusiastic owners in the league who is willing to spend, and one of the best coaches too.
Pitch has to include a center thats already verbally agreed to sign as soon as he does Whether its deandre, robin or biyombo
Duncan is a center (after Robinson retired), but never wanted to be listed as a Center because he wouldn't be a starter in the ASG when Shaq was here and he wants to be knows as the greatest PF ever.
