if i'm minny; i'm working with reid to get a s&t so i can get some sort of asset back. just having him walk hurts, even if there's not really room for him.

also, don't underestimate the possibility they move one of towns or gobert (more difficult), leaving more of a role left for naz.

Yeah, they should go all in with Edwards and trade KAT.

lol, starting at center, kevin porter, jr. sengun has been relegated to the bench for being neither a deep nor a lob threat.

Blazers not liking the trade offers?
    Beard to Houston cooling?
Pistons and Mavs could swap picks and Bojan for THJ
    Raptors moving up and rebuilding?
Warriors could use Kuminga to move up

Shams says the Wizards will work with Beal on a trade if the FO wants to go in a new direction (they probably do, hence this being leaked at all). I actually like Beal and think the version of him that played well off-ball, knocked down threes at a high percentage and played decent defense is still in there. He's just been in a s***ty Washington situation for too long. Obviously the contract is massive.

Only way to get him is a DLo S&T with Beasley and Bamba, likely plus a pick or two. Off the top of my head I'm not sure if that means we likely lose one of Reaves or Rui (probably Rui), but if thats what it means I'm out.

Beal, Reaves, Lebron and AD wins a title if Denver, Miami and Boston do not improve. And of course, Lebron and AD are relatively healthy by the end of next year.

It would likely be a one year shot to win one more title.

    Whats the luxury tax apron?

    Lebron - 47m
    Beal - 47m
    Davis - 41m
    Reaves - 11m
    Rui - 15m?
    Vando - 5m
    Max - 2m

The salaries are rounded but that's already 168m with 7 players.

don't like it for NO. ingram's still young and isn't their problem.

    seems like posturing from portland.

wonder if houston made contact through back channels and offered something less than max.

bad deal for dallas, thus possible.

feel like there's a deal to be made between toronto and portland, right?

lol. i might give them #17. seriously, though, how high do they think they can get using him? he was a 7th or 8th pick that hasn't been able to crack their playoff rotation despite them losing all their depth at his position.

btw, if i'm dallas, i look at the #10 for kuminga before i trade it for bogdanovic.

if dlo starts around where i think he will, him and beasley is enough, and that makes sense for washington. i wouldn't necessarily cost us rui, but it would leave us with limited options at pg and an overload at sg.

i've been a beal fan for a while, but he's definitely shown some worrying signs of decline, and that contract is HUGE. i don't see us doing this.

We probably start a Reaves/Beal backcourt in that scenario, which could work tbh. Reaves isn't as quick as Dennis but his point of attack defense is still pretty good. We could probably be a little switchier too, Beal is pretty stout and holds up fine defensively when he actually tries.

Miami can get him if they want him. Beal has a no trade clause so he can determine where he goes but Miami is a big destination spot.

what would it be? herro and what? caleb martin? i'm not taking lowry or duncan robinson back if i'm washington. and they don't really have any bad salary on the books right now (unless you count beal).

If we don't gut our roster it would give us a talented scorer we can go to late in games theoretically. Not sure how possible it would be to grab him.

I'm guessing Herro is more attractive than anything we can offer? I'm not that high on him, but he's a 20+ point scorer on solid efficiency and he's still only 23.

I don't think we get Beal. I can see something like 26, 29, buddy hield for beasley and 17th.

Beal signed a 250M contract last season.
We can't get him and keep Reaves, Rui, Schroder.
He's not a winner. He's a good player bit too one-dimensional that tend to disappear often. There's a reason the Wizards suck so much. They've Porzingis, Kuz and a couple other guys and didn't even sniffed the play-in.

We really don't learn with the Russ trade lol
