We have cap space. It'd be a salary dump for them if they get the nod from Aldridge. Morris is actually a pretty decent player. I guess I wouldn't be too mad about it. He's more of a PF than a SF though just like Randle.
Haha. You want a second meeting? How about not effing up the first one and picking up the option on Sacre, when LMA says he wants a center on the roster.
Yeah, Markieff can't defend 3's that's for sure. This is putting is in the same scenario as LMA except Morris isn't the talent LMA is. Who plays center? Does Randle start at that point? Tucker is a nice defensive 3, and he loves Kobe, but is that really the guy we want?
Actually I'm really encouraged they're trying a second meeting. If they get it that means: A) despite the media coverage, he'd have to be interested and B) we know we fumbled the first meeting and we get a chance to prove everyone wrong and give him more of the basketball info he wants Obviously I don't think we'd get him, but I'd hope the Lakers can at least leave after TWO meetings having left a strong impression.
Great post totally agree Mitch and co are selling hollywood to them but they play basketball Aldridge LIVES in LA they didnt need to waste time selling him on that. These guys will play in alaska if they had a better plan in basketball
Together they make only 13.5 million dollars. We'd still have 10 million to go get Lopez or Koufos or even bring Jordan Hill back. You would have to bring Randle and probably Clarkson off the bench.
LA is pretty much our last shot at getting a high tier free agent if the 2nd meeting does happen. If not, then we'll be in the hunt for another top 5 draft pick next year. This is soooooooooo depressing.
Does this mean DeAndre has committed? Or some other center? I feel there has to be a personnel adjustment otherwise what's the point?
Theyre delirious They REALLY are sitting next to the phone hoping LA has a change of heart We seem like that scorned crazy ex gf that stalks you until you move on to someone else
