Even with okafor we'd still be in the same position If free agents dont wanna come here they wouldnt have signed just because of okafor At the end of the day we still have to put the right pieces around the pick to see them flourish With russell we need a big With okafor we still would have needed someone to defend because of his defensive deficiencies and we cant buy one right now anyway and we would have needed a pg unless we want lin back in there
True but after trashing us thats f***ed up I wouldnt see him the same way After that he's a douche to me
If the Suns get LMA by signing Chandler, while having a comparable roster to LAs, man heads have to roll. That is a big kick in the gut to be outdone by cheap PHX and the option pickup of Robert Sacre.

I saw some chatter about why would Greg Monroe choose MIL over us - how is that a debate? They are in such a weak conference and their team is going to be a playoff team without a doubt. Sure Milwaukee is a far cry from Los Angeles but are we really that delusional as Laker fans that we can't believe someone went to a crap city for a better basketball opportunity? This is their career, and people want to win. We sound like the crazy ex-girlfriend who just can't get over the fact that the dude went somewhere where he was a better fit, had a better opportunity, and had a chance to make make waves. The fact that we rely on selling things OUTSIDE of basketball is the problem to begin with. Until we get the basketball part of this equation straight, we're going to lose people to the Milwaukee's of the NBA.
off trd's list part deaux: Small Forwards: Tobias Harris, Landry Fields Add: Caron Butler [even if he is ancient by today's standards...]
Knicks and Mavs expected to pursue Jordan Hill if they miss on DeAndre Jordan. We might not even get Hill back! If Mitch doesn't have a backup plan here... We might honestly go into next season with Tarik Black as our starter because nobody else wanted to play there... Wow.
I agree. I think they do what the Cavs did: match the contract now and if he doesn't fit, trade him later.
So if we don't get anyone today, how dry will the market be tomorrow? That Lee trade seems likely at this point.
What do we even offer them? We can't just absorb their salaries without at least sending one asset back, right?
