Based off of what? Play calls, scheme, adjustments, motivation..what?You keep throwing that out like it's some kind of verifiable fact. Spill it then..I'm curious as to where this much better stuff is coming from.

 

the only area where ham has vogel beat is offensively. motivation? how would you know which coach is better at that? are you on the bench with them?

 

No..but when they are on their cellphones on the bench during games, it gives you a strong clue. Not just the ones doing it, but the team leaders that let it go too. Shows that you lost that locker room.

 

Vogel was a very good coach for the 2020 and 2021 rosters, but he was a bad coach for the 2022 roster. Who knows how Ham would have done with last year’s roster, but I think he did fine this season.

 

the 21-22 roster was full of geezers who didn't even belong in the league anymore. there's a reason why most of that team went unsigned this past season. ham would not have done any better with that group

 

You know..the crazy thing is...the West was weak that season too. If Lebron and AD were healthy, we would have beaten Golden State with all those old geezers. Those guys played 21 games together that season. We still seem to underestimate just how great of a duo, those two are when healthy.

Vogel? Ham? I had more issues with Frank but still..it's AD and Lebron.

If Lebron and AD were healthy..Golden State wasn't unbeatable. What the hell happened to them in the previous season? They sucked all the way to the lottery, because of injuries. That s*** matters more than anything.

 

That roster Rob unloaded on him was awful! Perfect fit in Phoenix. He’ll tighten the screws defensively and let KD and Booker freelance and cook on offense. Rooting for him except when they play us of course.

 

I’m not so sure. Vogel wants to be aggressive at the point of attack and play drop coverage most of the time, will they be able to find the personnel to do that with limited resources? Not everyone can play in that kind of system, see what happened with Bazemore in 2022. Bazemore was good in a heavy switching scheme for the Warriors in 2021, but Vogel tried to force him to be a lock-and-trail defender in drop coverage for us and he sucked at it. Durant is probably more of a 4 defensively at this stage of his career so it’ll be interesting to see how Vogel handles him on that end of the floor.

Offensively, I’m not sure letting your stars freelance is good enough in 2023 even if they are Booker and KD. Neither KD nor Booker are awesome playmakers so there’s some danger of it becoming a but aimless and iso-heavy like we just saw from the C Bags.

 

Ayton and CP3 must be headed elsewhere this summer.

i'm going to guess whatever the league found in their investigation points to either the claim morant brought a gun on the team plane being true and/or the incident in indy when someone in ja's entourage pointed a gun at a pacers team bus actually being morant himself

if it's the first one, i'm guessing he'll get at least 50 games. if it's the latter or both, he's probably getting suspended indefinitely until he's proven to silver he's dropped the thug act

 

The reputed additional information seems to be involving this latest video. The NBA has already stated that they didn't find any evidence, that a weapon was used to threaten anyone in Indiana. They also were thorough with the 1st incident. They should have just banned him, from social media activity after the Denver thing. Folks are making up stuff now. I can't see some year suspension coming down at all.

 

Perhaps we are targeting a center and a shooter in the draft.

 

I'd rather gove all Missly minutes to Max.

 

We should keep one of them, at least as a tradable salary. I’d rather it be Bamba that stays I guess.
