One thing I know is that Mitch's MO is to tell any and all of our own FA's to check in with him before agreeing to offers with any other teams. On top of that Rob Pelinka is Ed's agent and has a great relationship with LAL. I have to believe Mitch had an opportunity to match, and there must be a reason why he didn't.
