    Yeah I hear you man. It's kind of a one sided rivalry. I don't think Laker fans really give a crap about Portland. That is partially why I said those scenarios are in a vacuum. I would not completly eliminate them from consideration though. And also like I said, there are possibilities that have yet to present them selves.

    I'm kind of liking the FVV/GTJ scenario though to help compliment Lebron/AD/Reaves.

    I’ve seen us linked to all these players now, Lopez, FVV, Trent Jr, Vincent, etc. Where are we getting all this money? As far as I remember when we traded for Rui, DLo, Beasley, and Vando our money was gone, we have the MLE and I think BAE and that’s it, and Dennis is rumored to be getting one or those if we hope to keep him. We can retain Reaves, Rui, and DLo because they’re our own players and Beasley, Bamba and Vando are under contract. I remember our only real option for bigger upgrades is trading some of the guys above, but none of those guys I listed above here are an option for the minimum, so I don’t know why we’re linked to so many of them.

    So I was under the mistaken impression that a double sign and trade didn’t trigger the hard cap. Not sure why I was thinking that, but yeah if any DLO for Kyrie structure means we lose one of AR or Rui forget that.

    I feel like we resign AR and Rui, keep one of Beasley or Bamba, resign DLo for less than $30 million per year and then shop DLo when he’s eligible to be traded in like December.

    Nick Nurse is a good coach but overplays his players a lot. Embiid is going to break if he's the only one there and has to play 40 a game.

    am i the only one who thinks harden is using houston as leverage to make sure morey makes good on the handshake deal they made last year when harden took the paycut so they could pay tucker? if he goes to houston it will be because morey didn't honor his word, imo. it's negotiations.

    also, i don't think nurse takes that job if he thinks harden walks for nothing. they'd be doomed.
