At least it isn't Doug Collins.
    Or the Ferengi.

too many players underperforming especially in the 4th quarter

Schroder in particular was just unbelievably crap. He's too small to play this many minutes against this team.

    We are approaching panic time.

If we bounce back and grab both at home, I like our chances. If we split, that’s it.

AD and Bron were pathetic. Those threes were beyond bad.

they made tough shots, and we missed easy ones, including our stars. that was about as winnable as conference finals road games get.

What’s lebron’s 3pt% since he came back from injury? And what’s ADs fg% in game 2s? I don’t need the answers. I know they’re really really bad.

No no... it's a negative %. You know why? Because it KILLS the momentum and usually results in a score on teh other side.

So... -20% would be my estimate

It's pretty much over. If it wasn't for Rui early and Reaves would have lost by 25.

    Both games were extremely winnable.

Reaves and Rui were having good games, gi to them down the stretch like Game 1 vs Memphis.

Instead Schroder, AD and Lebron had to make dumb play after dumb play.

Well this stinks. We should have won at least one of these.

ultimate test for this team. We win at home and the series is still winnable.

The Game 2 loss in DEN will be a memorable one for me, maybe you too. In game 1 I thought for sure we were going to end up down 30, but if that game had gone another 2 minutes I think we win it. Game 2? We looked really good. I thought we had it.

Here's a weird thing: Michael Porter Jr picks up his 3rd foul with 7 mins left in the 2nd Q. From pretty much that point, we don't score a FG for 5 minutes, until Lebron makes a driving layup. And it's not like the Nug D was great; our shooting just sucked. WTF?

We can't complain about our FT shooting, either.

Maddening. We could have won either or both games, but didn't even get one. Yea, if we don't win both in LA it's over. But I for one am still in this until DEN gets their 3rd...and it might be Game 5, in which case, who knows?

Again, despite us being the #7 seed and barely squeezing in, I have no doubt these really are the two best teams in the West, and I really do think either the Nugs or us could knock off MIA or the Bags.

game 1 was lost before the game even began when ham went with the small ball BS

game 2 was 100% winnable and they had it in the 3rd before they allowed murray to turn into curry. they win easily if lebron and AD hadn't both had off nights

need to win the next 2 games or the series is over

Months (even weeks ago) i would be extatic about WCF. But the more you have, the more you want and now, im pissed. We could have easily been up 2-0, looking at a sweep and much needed rest. It is what it is though, i predict a 4-1 series, keeping fingers for a healthy and productive off season, some smart FO choices and decent, HEALTHY next season.
If either AR or Rui are gone, so am i...

We just can’t quite crack the code on these guys. The irony is Thomas Bryant would be useful for us in this series. Hope he is enjoying riding the pine for them after asking to be traded.

feel like bryant would be unplayable in this series for defensive reasons. we have the right guys to beat them, save for maybe one more big (plumlee as were saying the other day). and we had the right gameplan yesterday. and we largely executed it! bummed the stars were cold all game and murray got hot in the 4th.

The lack of a 3 and D wing and backup are rough. Rui has taken the Morris role. Reaves the Rondo/KCP role. DS the Caruso role. Walker the Green one. But not having someone equivalent to Kuzma and Dwight is rough.

Really need some semblance of a decent DLo to make up for this.

Seeing how well KCP, Kuzma, and Caruso have done should really show how good that Bubble team.

and the following year. we were going back to the finals in 2021 if AD didn't get hurt.

anyway, the current group is pretty close to that level, imo. really just need tweaks.

Gave Game 2 away.. Had a solid defensive gameplan, but just missed way too many easy shots...Let DEN hang around, & Murray got hot in the 4th.
    Hard loss to swallow.
