Still reminds me of John Havlicek. Fearless shot maker who has more facets to his game than just scoring.

Wait, is he saying there’s a quota? If teams only care about the best players, why does skin color come into play? For ticket sales?

either way, glad he’s wrong, but it’s an interesting comment

Getting to the meat of the subject...which teams have the cap space available to offer Austin a 100 million dollar deal?

I’d think not with the handles and all the jukes to get space now with footwork comparing any current players to players from that era …. even the variety of shot making.

In a sense, but Havlicek played 16 years until 1978 and was solid all around. Reaves is more flashier with his dribbling but the same with no glaring weakness.

They saw it would translate because he played with skill, IQ and determination. He was athletic enough to play in the NBA but his game didn't depend on overpowering athleticism. Players that overpower lesser athletes but do not have the proper skills are the ones that do not translate well to a league full of tremendous athletes that do have skills. For those same reasons he will just keep getting better. No where near a finished product yet which is very exciting.

I'd still like to know which teams, can afford to kick out a 100 million dollar contract for Reaves. I need to see some names.

Big 4th with 11 (?) in the Q. Got off to a rough start, not good against MPJ (on Ham). Thought their size took him some time to adjust to. Not by chance that he looked better out there in the 4th when Rui was on the floor.

Reaves is a pretty resilient player, kid seems to step up in the bright lights, needs to be a laker 4 life.

Man he missed the wide open 3 after he made 2 in a row. Thought for sure that was going to go in: damn. They made everything and Lakers missed a lot of makeable ones sigh.

This kid is great. I wish we could have 5 Reaves of various sizes. No matter if he’s shooting well or not, he always gives effort.Reaves was the only reason we were in this game in the 4th.

Why is it our undrafted rookie is the one sounding like a vet?

Can't have him guarding MPJ, his defense is still good but nothing you can do when you're giving up 5 inches. Stick him on Murray.

Also glad to see his offense pick up in the 4th.
