Signing Tobias Harris will make me a little more calm. at least wer'e getting someone in an age that could drink alcohol. and he fits to the style of the team - "versatile".
I want to develop young players. I wasn't too much for Lma cause he's 30 and I feared the team would've been willing to trade our young draft picks... We stay young and rebuild the right way. Haven't we learned our lesson yet?
Versatile? The team "style" last year could be called a lot of things but this is too positive of a description don't you think? No one knows what we will be. Right now we have what, 7 players under contract? 4 rotational players (if we don't trade them) will have had almost no NBA experience.
I am full speed ahead on the youth movement, but I would be very interested in a honest clear the air interview from Mitch where he lays out exactly what went wrong.
With Monroe gone and LA and DJ unlikely everyone should start embracing the fact that we will be rolling out a very young team next year.
Lost Monroe because we didn't want to offer him max. We had interest just not max level interest. Robert Sacre FTW.
Id rather have a defensive C monroe got paid Its funny as much s*** as DJ gets for having no offense people praise others like monroe that are all offense and no defense And the same goes for dwight. Horrible offensively (no post moves) Gets most of his points off alley oops and dunks and plays good D. If he and monroe get the max than so does DJ (clipper hate aside) i think he would bring good energy to the team and solidify our defense and sort of "push" our guys intensity like kg did in boston As of now my choices are DJ Tobias Biyombo Davis And caron butler for the vet min
Then to compound things worse our lottery pick next season is going to Philly. Great moves by the FO. One clap for incompetence, two claps for crapping the bed.
Ok then, now it's REALLY time to go after Harris and Lopez or Biyombo. If we don't act quickly we will be fighting to even sign back our OWN players from last season. The thought of that is depressing.
