He could. Probably was as gassed as the others. But still. Wiggins can just jump over him.

Great points about their lack of two way players - especially wings. They’ve lost Klay, Iggy and Durant.

If Reaves wants a big payday, he will need to shine this series.

yeah, he's secured his big payday.

he had a tough game, but not awful. the play where divincenzo tried to punk him, and he worked side to side around the high screen and then beat donte and hit lebron for the oop was pretty huge. you could divincenzo afterwards sort of realize that the thing he thought was going to work wasn't going to work.

wiggins is too fast and physical for reaves, though, so i expect gs to look into that matchup some. dicey for them, though, because you're shelving some far superior offensive options if you do that.

think maybe they meant that they hope that compensation is tied to performance.

but i will say that the discourse here is quite different from that surrounding russell. everyone says he has to be better to get paid a certain amount.

i'm inclined to believe nothing that happens here will dramatically affect either guy's salary.

Reaves has high ball IQ. There was a play in the fourth where he got switched onto Curry and as he was chasing Curry along the baseline, he realised Curry was a decoy, stopped and turned to collect a charge against Wiggins (I believe?).

You never see defenders do that when chasing Curry, just shows his shot clock awareness and feel for the game. It's the little things like that which lead to winning games.

I meant i hope he is wrong and that Reaves will be better in this series. I could care less about his pay, just contribute and give us a win.

He is fine. He made, as usualy, several crucial plays during the GSW surge.

We’re asking a lot from him defensively, hope he has some in the tank to make plays offensively, esepcially down the stretch. I actually dont expect him to put up big offensive numbers this series, we just need him to continuing making winning plays

I think Wiggins may be the most underrated defender in the League. He’s long, quick, and smart on the defensive end. It’s no easy task scoring on him.
