Yeah Clippers willingly kept their game close but Sota-Pels score was too close for the Clippers to lose their game on purpose and the Sota-Pels game ended after LAC-Suns anyways

it's weird that he's even talking about it, as you said. the earliest we'll likely meet them is the conference finals (if we can't beat minny for 7th, we can't beat denver to get to the second round).

 

We all know what happened when they had the opportunity to play the Lakers in 202O ...

 

This is exactly what happened.. Clippers kept the game close to see if there was a definitive winner in the NO/MINN game.
If it was clear that Minny was going to win, I guarantee the Clippers were going to throw that game against PHO.
NO/MINN was just too close & went longer than the Clippers game.

 

i mean, he's not wrong. but unless KD or booker get hurt, i can't see the clippers beating phoenix

Went to conference finals last year or year before. Fluke. I wished. Always kick our a***s and I hope we don’t have to meet them this year, and NOT because WE failed to advance.

 

Also, you can't claim there's "no debating" something and then follow that with a "maybe." That's not making an actual claim that you say is irrefutable.

Like many.... just am sick of them raining down 3s on us and kicking our a** every time we play them. Makes me fear them in a series.

 

there is no way i want to face the clips if this team somehow advances to the WCF. if they do, that series is over in 5 games

their roster is pretty much designed specifically to beat the lakers and no one on this team can guard kawhi or PG

 

I think this current Lakers team is capable of beating them, we just got caught on a b2b and 4 games in 6 days. This team needed rest in the worst way and it showed when we struggled against short-handed PHX and UTAH to close the season...and to be honest, it also kinda showed in our game vs Minnesota too.

Seeing this team RESTED against Memphis gave me a lot of confidence in them moving forward. If Lakers end up in the WCF...I don't see LeBron or AD letting us lose that series no matter who we face. We will have come too far to lose at that point...and every single game would be played in LA, so that would favor us if anything because of no travel (and our two stars not having to travel).

I think Ham will also cut out the nonsense rotations that he put on that day...and he'll play the right guys next time around.

Yes - the Clippers have "owned" us but law of averages says that they're due for a loss against us...and what better way than for them to lose to us in the playoffs after dominating us in meaningless regular season games for 3 years?
