    Why did we wait until today to sign Thompson? No doubt our cheap front office being cheap. Just curious what advantage you get signing someone on the last day of the season besides not having to pay them for games we really could have used them in considering we were one or two wins short of locking up 6th.

    we lost that Rockets game due to Gabriel getting cooked in the paint, and now we have Bamba back we sign Thompson.

    it's hard to understand this FO most times

    Probably anyone brought in prior to today was going to cost triple or something like that of their salary for the rest of the season from that point in time with the penalty level we're at? Which doomed Caruso after they paid THT. Not saying it's right but we're not the Warriors, Nets or Clippers backed by billionaire pockets.

    Not sure why we need another guard since we already don’t have enough minutes for the ones we already have and rotations are supposed to shorten in the playoffs.

    May be both Dennis and DAR are done/unable to play?

    Lonnie is even less of a PG than Dennis, so all would fall on AR and we certainly do not want that.

    Dennis and DLo have been both been battling injuries as of late but a guy with zero experience playing with our team who also holds zero knowledge of our offensive or defensive systems is a better choice than our third best player(AR) on our squad to handle the ball?

    offensive and defensive systems? Of course AR is better. He is better than Dennis as well, yet the latter plays.

    IF (for people who read only parts of threads) even only Dennis can't go for a while, or is limited, getting a guy you can stick into the lineup and say - for 15 minutes a game you are going to:

    1. chase that small dude on the other team all over the court
    2. bring the ball up court quickly and then pass to this white dude on your team

    isn't the worst idea, to save some AR power.

    Of course, Lonnie can do that too, but he may get ideas...

    Bottom line... yup, quite puzzling
