still think no lebron basically means we're about a .500 team (which is great, pre-russ trade, we were like a .300 team without lebron). we're playing another .500 team at full strength. home court should give us a slight advantage, but it's far from a lock, imo. okc and utah are both playing with house money, too, as nobody expected them to be here. so much easier when nobody thinks you can do it.

We have to win this game, period. We are favored by 5.5, we're at home, we've got our whole team except LeBron which should be enough against OKC...AD/DLo is a good enough duo to win most games.

This is probably the biggest game of the season...winning the tiebreaker with OKC is very very crucial because we could end up tied with them at the end of the season.

Do NOT blow this Lakers. Also, do not be surprised if the Jazz somehow upset the Bucks. They just did it last week when they beat the C Bags AND the Kings. Luckily, they dropped one at home to the Blazers to negate one of those wins. Their next 5 are not easy...Bucks, @Kings, Suns, @Spurs, @C Bags. They'll hopefully go 1-4 over that stretch which should put them out of the race but they do face us twice to end the season so we do need to win both of those games (especially because they're 2-0 against us right now on the season).

Bucks up double digits on the Jazz and Hornets up double digits on the Mavs. Absolutely imperative that we win tonight. The DLO thing is super frustrating, we need another big game from Reaves and probably Beasley. Dennis has been good in spots like this too.

That would be very kind of Charlotte if they hung on. Don't expect them to however

That was a gift...somewhat offsets our terrible loss to Houston, at least a little bit.

Mavs are now 3-8 when both Kyrie and Luka play. (7-12 overall since the Kyrie trade.) Hope it continues to not work out.

Kidd sums it up on their performance

Letting a shorthanded Hornets team beat you, after they just played last night, that's rough. Thanks Washington and GH.

Bucks mopped the floor with the Jazz. Lopez was the lowest scoring starter with 17.

Has the makings for a very good night for us.

So... without 2 - 10 and Brick handicaps we'd be at like, 3rd?

With Bron and AD missing time.

Imagine if we had a passable coach too...

I mean, it's unlikely, but we still have a shot at getting 5th (2 games away) or even 4th (3 games away)!

Lakers are 12-6 since the trade deadline, which is tied for the 2nd best record in the West since then. (Small sample size and unbalanced schedule, but that .667 win percentage would translate to a 55 win season, tied for 1st in the West.)

And all it took was trading away Russ and getting pieces that actually fit! Apparently it's the first time at .500 not just this season, but since Jan 25 last season. Record at that time was 24-24, and everything went downhill since then, until they traded away Russ and got the new guys.

6th is better than 5th most likely.

best possible first round playoff matchup for us would be the Kings

Kings should be able to handle their assignment. Other two... we'll see. Embiid will probably be tired from the Warriors game.
