    IN OJ Howard TE (55)
    IN Jordan Willis DL (55)

Howard - immediate starting TE. Decent as a receiver. Spend a lot of time blocking. Good size. Good speed.

Willis - 6'4" and listed between 255 and 270 but with a 4.53 40 time. He plays special teams (99 snaps last season, has a memorable punt block on his resume; even does kick coverage!), DE, and used to play some OLB. Exciting addition.

    IN Cam Sims WR
    IN Keelan Cole WR (back)
Two guys who saw significant snaps on offense with their respective teams, and Sims is a big special teamer, too.

    WR Corps
    Adams 95
    Meyers 78
    Renfrow 63
    Dorsett 61
    Cole 53
    Sims 52
    -This is looking DEEP.

    Hosted: Austin Hooper TE
Hooper's 70 simple rating would top the TE depth chart. Would really round out the offense.

Man what a breakdown. So far the only loss on this team I didnt really like was Hollins. I have a lot of hope for that kid. You're breakdowns really do bring some of that hope. I have said I think a QB that can make solid plays during the WHOLE game we would be a powerhouse. Excited to see what we do finally.

We'll be using a short but quick passing offense but still built around Jacobs.

    IN Jaquan Johnson S
Howard is an interesting addition. He has increased his play time each season, culminating in 3 starts and 226 snaps on D last year. He has made his living on special teams, totaling at least 181 snaps in each of his four seasons.

    Simple Rating: 53
Long has appeared in 52 games, has 10 starts, with 9 of them coming in the past two seasons. Outside of 2021, he has been torched a bit in pass coverage (38-51, 463 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT). He has experience on special teams and in the playoffs, too. So, there's that.

Ya-Sin gone then? If so, wasted trade of Ngakoue then signing the mostly ineffective Jones.

It seems that way. Losing Ya-Sin is a blow. He was easily our best DB.

I like Ngakoue, but there's a reason he hasn't stuck anywhere long term and still isn't signed. He's really only a pass rusher. Even in a year where Jones was supposedly very bad...Ngakoue did more damage in terms of sacks and TLF, which are huge, but Jones matches or beats him everywhere else.

In 2022, they both played 15 games.
    Jones vs. Ngakoue
    38 Tackles 29
    15 QB Hits 16
    4.5 Sacks 9.5
    3 TFL 8
    1 FF 1
    3 FR 0
    1 DTD 0

    QB Garoppolo 74
    -solid starter

    FB Johnson 57
    RB Jacobs 90
    -elite duo

    WR Adams 95
    WR Renfrow 63
    WR Meyers 78
    WR Dorsett 61
-one of the best three-man WR corps in the league; right?

    TE Hooper 70
    TE Howard 55
    -we got some help!

    C James 78
    LG Parham 79
    RG Munford 61
    LT Miller 92
    RT Elueumunor 84
-This is not a bad group. Four of the players here are quality starters, and I expect Parham and Munford to be improved. There's also some depth behind them.

    DI Nichols 69
    DI Tillery 57
-We could use a big run stuffer.

    DE Crosby 95
    DE Jones 74
-We could use another outside rusher, but I expect Jones to bounce back.

    ILB Spillane 63
    OLB Deablo 61
    OLB Masterson 42
-This is our biggest need, but I like Spillane. Masterson did okay for an undrafted rookie, I suppose.

    CB Robertson 71
    CB Hobbs 69
    FS Moehrig 70
    SS Epps 75
-Four okay DBs, Facyson, Teamer, and Hall are all there as backups, too.

Wow. Foster Moreau was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Sad. Wish him the best. He seems like a great dude and was one of my favorites.

Yes, read the news about it. Ditto for a speedy recovery. Our new TE's seem to have brought in more for blocking to help the run game.

Defense was so much better with him on the field but injuries were starting to catch up to him. It seems that we are replacing our oft-injured vets with younger and cheaper versions. Not necessarily better but it looks like it.

That's another solid signing, giving the Raiders a suddenly deep set of DBs.

WR/KR/PR Deandre Carter visiting the Raiders. He'd be a 71.

He's not a great return guy, but he was good on punts last season. I'm not sure if this is bad news for Renfrow.
