You can keep doing this till you blue in face. AD isn't suitable to be a franchise cornerstone. Unfortunately, because the FO is as scared or misguided as you are in that regard, we all will get to live through the glorious AD-as-the-cornerstone years.

And it will suck donkey balls.

ANYONE! just not AD. he's the reason for all of our problems, and once we move on from him, things will be great. you'll see.

yeah, i just can't believe we have short enough memories to think that if we just move on from AD that things are going to be great. things were absolutely terrible until we traded everyone for AD, and we're just clamoring to get back to terriblesville. actually, if the majority had it their way, we'd have moved russ along with two unprotected picks to finish 8th this year, then moved AD for like, demar derozan and nic vucevic, and been totally great. if by "great" you mean "absolutely doomed for a full decade".

After being down 6 to start the 4th. (Activate paranoid conspiracy thinking mode: NOW): PHO is afraid of us, so they blew the game.

PHX (plus other teams) are trying to screw us 100%. No one wants to face healthy Bron in the playoffs...

They are definitely trying to make it harder for us. But we should just keep winning as much as possible and it's all good. We'll play both PHX and OKC next week anyway.

did phx sit ayton or was he injured. they're so thin after the kd trade that not having ayton hurts. especially against a smallball team like okc, where you don't even get a chance to try to exploit your size advantage.

stupid utah and okc trying to keep us out of the play-in. i hope we draft a star in the slot they should have had, the bastards.

depends on what we can get for him.

if we could get a team desperate enough to do a lopsided trade for him like the Gobert trade or Paul George, as in a young star + a ton of picks, I would probably do it.

You get what you deserve in this league .. counting on others teams to lose when you should have 38 wins is not the way to go .

The Lakers are just a below average team and an unserious one

i'm guessing utah's going to finish over .500 the rest of the way (they play a lot at home). same with okc, whose schedule isn't strong. NO's got a weak upcoming schedule, too. minny's got a tougher schedule to finish but should be getting both towns and edwards back soon, right?

we basically have to sweep our games with utah (2), minny, and okc and then get the expected wins vs. houston and one of the chicago games. if we do all that, we're in, imo. but that's a tall order with how we've played so far.

this friday's game with okc is pretty huge.

Naturally, its all going to come down to LeBron IMO. I actually feel like we've played well overall despite missing him. I think we will get to the play in but we will need him to win those games and make a decent playoff showing.

after looking at respective schedules, i'm really not sure. okc, utah, and NO all have easier roads ahead, imo.

i do agree that the results, all things considered, have been pretty good. if you told me lebron was going to miss the last month+ of the season and we'd still be in the thick of things, i'd have doubted it, even post-russ trade.

anyway, bpi says i'm wrong about projections and schedules, so let's hope the computer knows stuff.
