Honestly doesn’t seem like any of these teams actually want to make the playoffs.

Looks like everyone loses. We still have a shot at 8th which would mean winning only one play-in. 7th as well since Warriors are struggling.

Golden State is going to fall, Minnesota without Edwards is going to fall, OKC has a tough schedule to finish the season. We just need to win some games, we can still make it to the 6th seed.

Fell out of the top 10, just wow. Three games under 500 with three Hall of Fame players for most of the season just an embarrassing and inexcusable situation.

we don’t really deserve to make the playoffs in the typical Western Conference, but in this down year, neither do the five or six crappy teams in front of us.

should be an interesting finish, but not sure how much of it is going to be worth watching

We upped our talent, and that can win you some games alone, which it did IMO, but I don’t think it’s realistic to expect the team to get hyped and focused for every game for two months straight, then continue that focus in the playoffs.

We dropped a few we should have won. That should be expected honestly.

Whatever we do this season is cool, but I don’t expect much. Adding four or 5 new core players with no training camp this late in the season, it just isn’t likely for everything to break right for a deep playoff run. That’s ok to me.

I’m looking forward to keeping this core for next season and whatever they do this season is gravy. If we can somehow get to 6th, cool. If we stay at 9th or 10th, I’m ok with that too as I don’t expect much until next season.

The injuries have been killing almost everybody in the West this season. The only teams with decent records, have been the ones mostly healthy all season. Lebron has played 47 games, AD 43, and they've only played 25 times together this season. Three seasons in a row with your two best players, playing in less than half of a season together? Not a recipe for success. If it happens again next season, we are going to be in a similar position.

We'll be back in if we win today, but still... we should at least try to play smarter basketball in the clutch.

The latest season the 1st seed in the West finished with a lower % win rate than the Nuggets was ... the 83/84 one

There is an important opportunity to not miss here , regardless of the cimcurstances imo

You're right to an extent .. but not to the " lost the game while up 4 with the ball with 38 seconds left" extent

Right. I would take Tatum over AD, as the player to build around, before you can spell "Tatum".

This image is very fitting. Load management. No heart (you don't see the lion :) , but may be also no courage)

Why not? That kind of thing happens in the NBA to some team every few months. It was just our turn to take that L

no thanks. don't want that beta not scoring in the second half as we lose to a non-playoff time while i'm trying to win a title. he probably lacks some crucial internal and/or sex organs. trade him for guys that don't score zero in the second half of game 70 of the season while my team is trying to secure home court advantage for the finals. no thanks, no sir, not my "superstar". couldn't even shut down lauri markannen (his name is a girl's name!).

this is jayson tatum, perfect rendering:

    EXCEPT THE SHEEP...IS...SECOND HALF POINTS!
