yeah, they have dropped three in a row. i just have them staying in the 4/5, which means i think gs and the clips want OUT of the 4/5. it's definitely not beneath the clips to tank for a favorable playoff position. think they've done it before.

Just curious, why do you think this? We only need to finish the season in 7 or 8 and then win that 7/8 game to be the 7 seed. We're currently tied with Dallas and OKC and just need to make up 1 game on them to get the 8. Or make up 2 games on Minnesota to get the 7. Don't need to pass all 3, but seems doable to pass 2 out of 3, to be in that 7/8 game.

I think we can beat one out of Dallas/Wolves and definitely ahead of the Jazz, Pels, Portland and OKC

    Tonight's action:

We got the Rockets. Hopefully we don't sleep on one of three teams that are already out of the playoffs. Sengun is listed as doubtful on ESPN, hope that holds.

    Screenshot_20230315_175406_ESPN.jpg

Gobert and Reid are both listed as doubtful. Do they have a functioning center? It looks like Ant vs the Cs. I like those odds for the green leprechauns.

If Mavs are still shorthanded, 4 of their best players are questionable or out, then they're not better than the 18 win Spurs.

GS vs. Clipps is a win-win, pulling for GS because I think a Clipper fall is more likely.

Unfortunately, I think we're better off with a GS loss. We hold the tie-breaker against them, whereas the squatters hold it against us.

Ideally both of them drop blow us, but it's gonna be one team at a time, and it's easier for us to leapfrog the Warriors right now.

Mavs update. They're down 3 guys tonight.

Kyrie trade looks worse by the day.

Update: apparently the Spurs are going to have to play Pop some minutes tonight

Mavs- Spurs is a D-League game, but one team is tanking hard and the other one isn't.

just going on long-term trends. lebron's out for us, and we've got AD sporadically out and bamba out, too.

okc has shown no signs of slowing down/giving up, and minny's been picking up steam and expects towns back.

so, just playing the percentages. it's possible. i mean, technically, 4th is possible, right? i just think we're likely to land 9/10.

Minnesota lost and Dallas is down three with 1:38 left. That would make tonight's game easier to stomach.

Trap game, and we lost to a 17-52 team. We don't really deserve to make the playoffs this year, and a game like this underscores that fact. We are now closer to falling out of the play in game than getting to the 6th seed. 70 games down, 12 to go.

Getting the top 8 spot should be a priority. It gives us one game cushion in the play-in. And to get it we can't really afford to drop games. After the Knicks, we couldn't really drop last night's game.

I think they see how good we can play and are confident we can get the wins we want too moving forward but we aren't really in any position to be cocky.

Let's see how the season unfolds but if we end up in 9/10 we may have to go to Dallas steal a playoff berth and depend our odds of Luka and/or Kyrie to go berserk, 2 of the most clutch players in the game lol

Ideally we want the 7 or 8th seed yea it's a play in but.... This route is better then facing the best teams send me thru the back alleys I rather face gsw/Memphis/sac/minny/dallas

6th would be nice but 7th is okay too, we’d get a home game against one of Thunder, Wolves or Mavs most likely and then get to play the Grizzlies or Kings.

Huge missed opportunity but we can make up for it by beating the Mavs AND Thunder at home during our 5-game homestand, and then beating the Twolves on the road end of this month.
