Look how our bench and DRuss saved us this game below.

but 43% from 3? 56% from the field? I don't even know who these guys are anymore hahaha

I like the optimism, but what I don't like is that these reporters are being misleading either due to laziness or clickbait or something.

For example, the Lakers are not 1 game out of the 6 seed, because Dallas has the tiebreaker. If the Lakers win 1 more and Dallas loses 1 more, Dallas would still be the 6th seed and Lakers would still be in 9th if GS and Minnesota don't lose more. The true number there is that the Lakers are 1.5 games out of the 6 seed, and in reality since they've played the same number of games and you can't win half a game, then by season's end, Lakers would need to make up 2 games to get the 6th seed. So with that, here are the true # of games needed to make up to get a higher seed.

Need to make up 1 game on either Minnesota or GS for the 8 seed. (Min has the tiebreaker over us, we have the tiebreaker over GS.)

Need to make up 1 game on both Minnesota and GS for the 7 seed.

Need to make up 2 games on either Dallas or Clippers (and 1 on both Min and GS) for the 6 seed. (Dallas and Clippers both have the tiebreaker over us.)

Need to make up 2 games on both Dallas and Clippers (and 1 on both Min and GS) for the 5 seed.

Any of the above is doable, and some of it likely imo. In case any real dreamers are wondering:

Need to make up 5 games on Phoenix (plus all of the above) for the 4 seed.

Need to make up 8 games on Memphis (plus all of the above) for the 3 seed. (We have the tiebreaker over Memphis.)

Need to make up 9 games on Sacramento (plus all of the above) for the 2 seed. (They have the tiebreaker over us.)

Need to make up 14 games on Denver (plus all of the above) for the 1 seed. (They have the tiebreaker over us.)

Yes, that was lazy reporting and just inaccurate. But overall the message remains the same. We're coming for you.

    Full slate today

Knicks vs. Clippers: Randle need to unleash the bully ball. With no Brunson, could be tricky.

Jazz vs. Hornets: somehow Hornets have won 7 of their last 10 and are playing among the best D in the league. Maybe that continues. I'm just waiting for them to turn on tank mode though.

Mavs and Grizz: no Ja, no Luka and Kyrie is a maybe. Grizz need to grind it out.

Thunder vs. Pelicans: win- win. Haven't seen BI's status, but NO is dealing with more injuries right now.

Bucks vs. Warriors: fear the deer!

Knicks pounded Sac on the boards and nearly came away with the W. Box out! Goad Randle into taking treys. Also he tends to lose track of weakside help to turn the ball over.

I think we’ll get into the top 6. People forget we started 2-10 in the first 12 games. Since then we’ve gone 31-24 (57% win rate) while dealing with Lebron and AD missing half a season each basically.

I think we’re a 65% winning percentage team before the deadline when healthy and I think we’re probably a 65% winning team now with one of the big 2 out since the deadline. If we can get healthy, we can make some noise.

I think the Clippers are going to finish 5th, and the Lakers 6th, and meet in the Conference Finals.

Clips and Suns hopefully are the 4/5 matchup so one of them is knocked out and chaos ensues.

this would be ideal, but I cant see Clips beating the Suns assuming KD is healthy.

    Knicks failed us.

But here's an update for tonight's Mavs game

If Grizz can't win this one...

Grizz will win. They are great at home even without Ja..

We need Sac to beat Phoenix so that they stay in that 4th spot.

KD is going to be out probably until the playoffs. I don't think he can just walk in and lead the Suns past the Flippers.

Grizz down 6 at the start of the fourth. This would be an awful loss with no Kyrie and Luka

Grizzlies rally to win. Tied with Mavs in the standings if we win tomorrow against the Knicks.

They of course hold the tie-breaker.

Warriors in a tight one with the Bucks.

post all star break, I heard the number Lakers have to go 15-8 to make the playoffs, they are 6-2, so that number is now 9-6

Love to see Phoenix fall apart down the stretch, but either way, we're looking good to be in the post-season.

Of our next 8, 6 are at home and the ones on the road are Pels and Rockets. We can definitely win them all. We will face Phoenix, Dallas and OKC in that stretch, key games

pels and okc games are most important, followed by dallas game (they're just reeling now).
