A Wing, listed variously @ 6'4" and 6'6" 210lbs, he does have a 7' wingspan. Supposedly moves his feet well on D and he has that length. Good % from 3 but low attempts. Only plays 9 minutes in Denver, he was behind Mikal Bridges and Torry Craig, he wasn't getting no action there. Whether that was deserved or not, we will find out. Little bit of an underachiever according to scouting reports. If we can get a few minutes of quality wing defense and a couple of 3s per game it's great for us. We may have to run small forward by committee.

I notice Russell Westbrook on top of that list. I know he's not in his prime anymore, but maybe he would fit well here, sharing ball handling duties with Bron, and he's still fairly athletic?

Yea, that was one of Ham's things I never understood: what about JTA was such a bad fit that he basically got no mins? Watch him excel wherever he lands next.

Westbrook is STILL available? We needs to jump on that jit, post-haste! He fills up the stat sheet!

And I see TWO Reggie Jacksons on the list. Do we need a guy who can act as a straw and stir the drink of the team? Aksing for a fiend.

No but seriously: aside from Kevin Love (ain't gonna happen), I think we're done. Now they need to take the rest of the season to find out how to play together. There should be plenty of down-time: if they play anything like they did against NO and OKC, the season's over after 82. Need Beast Mode AD back, but I for one ain't holding my breath.

Ross is a SF 6'7" why are you comparing to Walker and Max?

JTA was hot garbage playing at the 4 for us. We have Rui, Vanderbilt, Gabriel and AD (at times)@ PF

Do you think we’ll play a video tribute of his time on the Lakers the next time he visits the arena?

will it or will it not include his side of the backboard shots?

Ha!!! It would be the most hilarious thing ever. It could only happen if someone somehow switched the video at the last second. Let’s pay Linda to do it since she’s literally un-fireable.

K Love is slow as molasses these days. You really want to take minutes away from Rui, Gabriel, Vanderbilt for a statue out there........ it's time for Kev to ride out on the sunset. He can still park it under the rim and grab a couple of luck-boards, he can pass and shoot a bit still but he's injured a lot, he's done.

Yea, the current Cavs have blown by him. Sometimes I think of a guy as he was then, as if he's that now, and I knew Love had slowed down a lot. Probably too much. And yea: he's missed a lot of games. I remember watching him for UCLA, wishing we'd get him. He had a good NBA career, won a ring, but wouldn't've without Lebron and Kyrie. When he was at his best his style was like Jokic, only less..."lumbering." But Joker's court IQ seems off the charts to me.

Terrence Ross or Will Barton are the two I would go after. Getting one of them would at least give us one more wing for depth and they both come in at about that 6'6 height and can shoot a little. I lean on liking Ross just a tad better...

    PF Rui Hachimura/Jarred Vanderbilt/Wenyen Gabriel
SF LeBron James/Troy Brown Jr/Terrence Ross
    C Anthony Davis/Mo Bamba
    SG Malik Beasley/Austin Reaves/Lonnie Walker
    PG D'Angelo Russell/Dennis Schroder

    XX Max Christie/Davon Reed

With another LBJ sitting out when we were already shorthanded because of all the trades- it was another loss to the Bucks, putting us at a season worse 6 games under .500 (25-31) and now 2.5 games out of the play-in and 4.5 games behind avoiding it all together (#6 seed).

And that is with only 26 games to go....

We need to turn this thing around in a hurry....

From Woike in his piece on last night's game. As we thought, Lakers were trying to address the wing until the clock expired. They were either too expensive or not good enough.

That's why I think we will/should look at Ross or Barton.

    This is an interesting question.

On one hand I do think our organization is classy enough that they would want to do something like that for a future hall of famer who spent two seasons with us…

But you have to think it might backfire. Reminding the fans of these dark times that Westbrook has been at the forefront of very well might incite a chorus of boos

i don't know. i have real questions as to whether ross or barton is better than any of beasley/reaves/walker. they're not big wing defenders, and only ross is a shooter.

I think we can skip the dash, so D Lo or DLo is fine. Russ and Russell are bad, immediately conjures up Westbrick .
