Never heard of him and I try to be aware of other teams too.
Read today in BR he's a 6'5 guard who defends well. Said in the article that if he works on his 3s he could be serviceable.

I don't think he will play non-garbage minutes

    What a day!!

so collins, bojan, and anunoby didn't move. in fact, the raps were buyers and sold no one. but it was still a pretty wild deadline.

i'm shocked collins didn't move (and that atlanta did basically nothing) and that toronto didn't at least move trent.

also surprised memphis didn't just pull the trigger on an anunoby deal. i feel like dillon brooks is a problem they could have excised there. instead, he's a big emotional leader whose on-court production is specious. i thought they'd be sneaky and avoid having to decide what to pay a guy who thinks he's better than he is and probably has 14 teammates who agree.

I actually remember waking up and looking at my parents' LA Times, and seeing we got Kareem. I thought we'd be instantly great, but we weren't. Kareem was fantastic, but the team was lousy. Then: we got a sophomore out of Michigan St and it was Golden, my friends. Was it not?

KD cost Collins his chance at freedom and I hope he posterizes him for it. Hawks were able to shed some money so I guess after that they didn't feel the need to move Bogi. That seemed like last cost cutting resort.

Guess the Pistons were serious about keeping Bojan around for next year.

OG was surprising. Maybe the Raptors were just doing an inventory check to see how the league valued their guys so they can act accordingly this summer. After the KD deal though, I don't think they'll get a higher offer than whatever competing western teams were offering up today.

I'm surprised the Nets didn't sell off more of their vets. I'm surprised about the Grizz, as well. Who are they collecting those assets for? They have to have an eventual target. Surprised NO stood pat. And i thought GS would do more to improve than just wind back GP leaving

ATL did do something - they got Bey.

Warriors got GP2 back and for some odd reason dumped Wiseman for five 2nd's...that's got to be one of their worst moves that I've seen in a longgggg time. Dumping a #2 overall pick for not a single 1st rd pick or impact player? That's terrible asset management.

Cap reasons. They saved a boatload of money. Still, not the best #2 pick ever...

I also remember when we got Kareem. He was my first basketball idol and still the GOAT to me. I was just a kid but I was a huge fan. I didn't really start watching games regularly though until Magic got here.

LOL. He's NOT a "top" free agent at this point. The Clippers literally benched the guy because he was that bad. He was like Westbrook bad

Agent relations. Chris is close with Klutch. Friendly write up is for their benefit.

Feels like a real changing of the guard this year.

A lot of guys that use to be highly sought after on that list of buyout candidates.

Get Kevin Love, right? If you can't get Kyrie, Love will do. :) Seriously now, last year he was a 14/7 player, shooting 40% from three. Not bad at all.

Same. Specially on the Grizz, I think they will regret this. Absolutely agree with the Brooks' take. Additionally, getting OG fit them so well. Someone mentioned here that they need more scoring from the bench than anything else, I agree it's a need, but scoring you can get for cheap (see Bones lol). But a 3&D like OG you don't. He would get to pair with Bane in the wing, with Morant, JJJ and Adams/Clarke, that's a tough 5 to beat 4 times in seven.

Plus, OG, Bane and JJJ would probably re-signed below the max and they could have all of them with JA for the next 5-10 years.

Let's see how the next couple years unfold for them
    They saved 130 MILLION dollars.
I agree it was a bad deal on a basketball perspective. But it was at the deadline, I'm pretty sure no one was giving more and they needed to pull the trigger. He went to a heavy center team, don't see him pairing with Duren in today's NBA, but let's see his progress. Won't surprise me if he's out of the league in 5 years

I would not have liked to see Memphis get OG - especially getting him for Brooks. That would have really jumped up their chances for the next few years. Whew!

I did have a weird feeling that Toronto were buyers, not sellers this deadline as I mentioned earlier. Not surprised at all. I am pretty surprised by Detroit holding onto Bojan - guess they weren't bluffing there. While I would have loved to have gotten him, it wasn't dire and I'm glad we still have the FRP which would have had to go out for the trade. And we still moved Pat Bev which was a huge win for me. And we did need a Center pretty desperately with the Bryant revelation and the fact that he didn't play D.

I like Ross here, good for 15-20 minutes, a wing who can hit from deep and defend. He's a good add.

Who would he replace? We already have Lonnie and Max without space.

If we add someone I would add a defensive stopper. JTA kind of guy. Our rotation is complete, so we really would just benefit from having a guy we can throw against superstars on a situational basis, while getting DNPs most games
Or some other AD insurance, it's never too much. And we actually have no bulk scorer on the bigs, TB scoring made all the difference to keep us afloat

    .

Yeah numbnutts Ham much preferred sticking freaking Beverly on big wings. As I whined before, for chrissakes the guy was good enough to get minutes on the Warriors a couple seasons and won a ring last year.
