I like Jackson more than Russell, that would be a big pickup.

Alright so Pelinka is the GM now because we like these moves right? I’m just making sure my credit is going where it needs to.

Hey what's that mean? Someone dug up, pages back, yesterday the actual quotes where LeBron damn near put himself on the injured list dislocating his shoulder by patting himself on the back last year for the Russ trade. Did you miss it? ;)

:D According to Aaron Larsuel, who I know I keep referencing, it’s a very collaborative front office, and remember there was an article this summer that said Joey and Jesse were also bigger voices in the room now. But yes, Rob is the GM, he has final say, it’s his job, he’s the face, he gets blame for the bad moves and credit for the good ones, that’s how it works. To me anyway.

Nope...It's all a Rob/LeGM and Rich Paul collaboration l!! Lol If it goes left, it was all Lebron.

Neither he, nor the rest of the FO brain trust (Jeanie, the Rambii, and I assume Jay Mohr) are out of the woods yet. This was a very active, successful trade deadline. But I expect that from a premiere franchise, and mostly we're making up for past HUGE mistakes. Rob still has a lot of work to do to fully climb out of the hole he dug. But this was a terrific pivot into the right direction and it gives me a new-found optimism.

Haha I’m with you man but I swear all I’ve seen are “LeGM” posts when the moves don’t work.

one move. that he proudly and explicitly and admittedly organized. that was the worst trade in franchise history. not sure what your point is, but if lebron continued to have his way, i promise this deadline wouldn't have been possible, because we'd have pissed away unprotected firsts on role players six months ago.

i'm glad that people are back in their roles, doing the jobs they're paid to do.

For all the good Rob did this deadline remember that outgoing we still have to account for Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, KCP and the # 22 pick we used to get Westbrook.
It just about evens things out. Maybe puts him slightly ahead. He still needs to make up for picking THT over The Eagle (although our scouting department did that with Reaves) though.

Yeah like I said last page he took full credit for the Russ trade, publicly (had never seen those quotes before) last year before the disaster unfolded .... when he and AD slightly over a year removed from delivering a championship had infinitely more juice than Pelinka at the time with the puny little deal he had already worked out for Buddy Hield. And James has been cut off since, in spite of all his passive aggressive BS in the public arena trying to still leverage stuff that he wants since then.

Too much alcohol was consumed after breaking that record. And after hearing about this trade deadline, might be actually full alcohol poisoning... who knows?

But seriously, his foot is sore again; this time they call it "ankle injury". It's not really ankle injury, just to make it clear, he's taking a day off.

He’s made some questionable moves in the past but it looks like LeGM figured things out and really worked the phones this trade deadline to help the team get back where it was. Following up breaking the scoring record with this is quite the feat. I’m not surprised he’s out for the game.

Even kings need to rest sometimes.

    Good job LeBron. Good job.

No doubt he's been in Pelinka's ear having followed the careers of all these guys since middle school.

Interesting buy out targets but I think our roster is pretty okay at the moment. No glaring holes until games are played. I think those wing targets go to teams who missed out on OG and the Nets' wings.
