    See we talked about that interview before. Was I wrong in thinking he said the opposite not ruling out incremental trades if they improved us. I remember “thinking” he was saying what you wanted but that you were reading more into it thinking he was still talking about the 3rd star home run? Which would never be completely off the table either if the option arose.

    He can improve defensively. He is not a great leader and we don't need or want him to be that here at all. Lebron and AD will have the clamps on him as will Darv. Never really noticed any lack of lateral speed, his timing is good enough to get steals. Again, could care less about attitude, LBJ could handle the likes of Kyrie, then he can handle D-Lo.

    Also remember these guys are coming from a place with snow on the ground to sunshine and beaches. They will be happy and motivated.

    I really don’t want to get deep back into that argument, I’m just glad he did the opposite of what he said, at the time I could only take him at his word and go off his actions, he’d held off on any deadline trades for a long time. This is what he said




    I don’t know how else to take that than trade for a star or not. Neither this trade, nor the Rui one make us a title favorite in my mind, maybe they do in Rob’s mind I can’t say. To me these deals are the kind he was saying he didn’t want to do, but they were exactly what I and most here were hoping for. To me Rob was talking about a Kyrie deal, and that doesn’t even seem to be dead as there are still pathways to that now in the off-season. I like this current thinking over that though, and I praised Rob for it, I really hope this signals a change in his thinking from 3 stars to depth, but again, too soon to tell until this off-season.

    You’re probably right here, luckily Russell is still useful off the ball unlike Russ. I personally still hope that Bev is moved so he’s gone as a security blanket for Ham, and mainly just for one last piece that we need, wing or big.

    Ah f***.. Of course they are, of course it’s in our division, they will likely now be the West favorites as long as Durant and Booker remain healthy. There goes Durant again, crying his way to another ready made team because he can’t get it done where he is, what a fraud.
