It’s too many guards abeer, they’ve got to trim it down for someone else, hopefully a big. Also, it was going around we might not be able to trade the other first now, Lowe says we can

reaves and christie have value as cost-controlled young guys. don't think we move them unless it's a major no-brainer.

i think if bev didn't go back to minny, he's here.

so it's lonnie for reddish or something?

it is. but as i outlined above, i'm not sure who moves and for what. also, we're kinda set at forward and center, too. i guess we could use a brute, but they're typically pretty cheap. my man gorgui probably just floatin' around out there...

coaches don't cost luxury tax. a player making ham's salary costs like 1.5X as much in our situation.

yeah, i was sure that the top-4 converted to an unprotected '28, thus negating '29, but no.

turns out rob isn't the d****** everyone insisted he was.

Yeah was just reading speculation that we’d be unable to trade 2029 depending on the protections and coming to terms with that, but knowing that’s NOT the case makes this so much better!

For one protected pick, this was a damn good deal. Did Rob slip something in Ainge's drink?

Best part of this deal: slotting.

We got a starting PG. Moves DS to his proper spot as a backup. Removes the need to play a $47m backup who can't close but did some nights.

We got shooting. Scoring. Improved big play. Some more size. Improved depth. We moved three players who either weren't playing or shouldn't be playing for a sure fire starter and two high end backups.

Next: see what Bev, LW4 and draft capital can get you. LW is redundant with Beasley. Ham will f*** it up as long as Bev is on the roster. Best one player return you can get.

I wasn't talking tax really. Those contracts are guaranteed. I doubt management likes paying multiples at once.

Reddish would struggle to get into the rotation with this current roster.

Yeah. I think Lonnie is the odd man out.

Not sure we’d still want Reddish now though.

I have to hope the FO doesn’t think we’re set at C, AD can always go down at any time, Bryant can’t guard his shadow, and Wenyen doesn’t get minutes. Plus we looked at Cousins before, I have to think we at least look at bigs, we seem set at guard and threes and fours now. But maybe if they’re interested in Trent Jr that’s moving 2 guards in Bev and Walker for 1, and at least a little bigger of one, I’d be good with that. There’s always the buyout market for bigs too.

and even so, he's played well for us, imo, and is great injury insurance and an expiring contract this summer. i think folks are discounting that if we plan to sign dlo and rui this summer, we're going to pushing big payroll. adding another high dollar guy for bev/walker could really push that up.

i mean, it's not my money, but...there are limits. even gs sold gpII and may be looking to sell two of their three recent lotto picks right now.

He’s definitely got a couple of snipers and a guy to do the dirty work.

Bot sure we can claw our way to the playoffs but the team is in better shape overall with the young role players most of us have wanted.
