Uhh… not sure how I feel about that. Definitely a better fit than Russ, but has his own set of flaws. Trading draft compensation to swap Russ for DLo would be rough unless we got back more in return.

I think DLo is also a free agent at the end of the year so that could get very risky.

 

I'll give this FO one thing, they're pretty good at moving in silence. I haven't seen any DLo rumors until right now lol. How I feel about this depends entirely on the draft compensation.

 

I'd be curious what else we get. Nothing will be worth the picks, though. Russ makes like 14 mil more than Russell. I would think the Jazz toss crap our way

 

Seriously? Well .... OK anything to get Russ the hell out of here and the upside would be huge for Lakersball in that we'd probably get @trodgers back to talk hoops instead of only football.

 

D'Angelo Russell can at least shoot

 

I would honestly prefer Conley to D'Angelo Russell. Conley isn't what he was 5 years ago, but he just needs to defend and hit open 3s. He can still do that.

 

So apparently Beasley and Vanderbilt are in it too. That is more like it.

 

DLo AND Beasley/Vanderbilt? Yeah I’d be all over that depending on the draft compensation

 

dlo does absolutely nothing to help this team

beasley/vanderbilt better be in the deal as well. especially if they're parting ways with a 1st round pick

True that, and though not a strong suit .... has to be better on D than the baller formally known as Russ. He will shore up that bench unit great while Ham continues to start BevMo and his main squeeze Schroder.



Does kinda seem like Bev might be included going to MN though? Please gawd!!

I wouldn’t say nothing. He’s shooting 46% from the field and 39% from three (on a high volume, 7 attempts per game)

 

Sounds like DLo, Beasley, Vanderbilt. DLo isn't a monster move, but compared to Russ he's Steph Curry shooting wise. Beasley is a near 40% 3pt guy too with pretty big volume. Overall it would make our team better, IMO

 

How we feeling about D Lo

 

can't defend for s*** though. and obviously his shooting #'s will come down once he gets to LA

 

Need to see the final deal.

I don't immediately hate it I suppose. lol
