    That would be epic. Obviously KD is a beast and what we need, but losing AD would be crushing in a lot of ways. Plus then, what do we do with Russ?

    I mean.. it works? I am not saying this would actually happen, just like.. grabbing AD, Reaves and Christie plus both 1sts is a pretty good return for them.

    I'm really starting to think a KD trade happens today or tomorrow. It feels a lot like it did with Harden last year; consistent denial that there are any talks going on and then a big acceleration in the last 24 hours. No one's really heard from KD since Kyrie demanded out, which is weird. They were saying a couple of weeks ago that KD would play in the All Star game, but then the update yesterday was that there was no timetable for his return despite the medical update being "really good". Over the summer he made the trade demand as public as possible and the Nets were subsequently lowballed, maybe KD and the Nets agreed that doing this discretely results in a better chance of KD being somewhere he actually wants to be.

    Man, the more I look into Ad's demeanor last night, the more I think he was brought up in trades. If that's the case, they better do something fast, or we're beyond screwed.

    Yeah man, ship his a** out. It's bad enough with all his injuries and whinning about not wanting to play center. Now this? It makes it hard to root for this guy.

    I would assume that most players, superstars included, know that their name is brought up in trade talks? That doesn't mean they are going to get up traded. But "if you guys are willing to trade AD, we would be interested in offering a nice package with players and 1st round picks"... that sounds perfectly reasonable. Why would he get upset at that? GMs have to ask. The only exception is if someone actually told AD, "Anthony, we're getting ready to complete a big trade tomorrow and you're included", so he's down about it. Either that, or he has something totally unrelated going on in his life, which is possible.

    If a trade was agreed upon though AD's not playing in the game last night. It would have been easy to hold him out and just say its precautionary with the foot injury.

    I think something big is going on, and not necessarily with us. It seems reallllly quiet out there rumor wise and we're like 25 hours from the deadline.

    I'm not advocating trading AD but our D doesn't look much different than when AD was out. To be honest he hasn't really had much of an impact.

    14-17 with AD and 11-13 without.

    He ain't making this team that much better if at all.
