i think some stuff is going to happen. it just might not be the talent for picks stuff that everyone was expecting. the real monkeywrench to me has been detroit acting like it's going to be good next year, which i doubt. i mean, i guess if they get wemby, but you could say that for any of them.

but the hornets, magic, rockets, and spurs should all be selling, at least. they're out and have vets that aren't going to be there in the future and aren't helping them win.

So he's not off the block

Also, he's reporting we still really want Bojan
We think we need one more piece

Alex with the framework of what that could look like with Utah

If you're getting Beasley back, I probably look to include LW or move him separately. All this depends on pick compensation.

    Another interesting report...

Woike reports teams still want a first for taking on Russ. Also, other teams expect us to use Bev and LW4 in a trade.

b******* that is still the ask. He's expiring and half his money has been paid. You're telling me a team like the Jazz, who'd we be cleaning the books for, is going to want a 1st to take back Russ? If that's the case, those talks are going nowhere. They're asking a first for Beasley, a first for Vanderbilt, and if they too want a first to take on Russ... that's 3. Taking on Conley and Gay should negate the need for that Russ first and maybe they do. Maybe that's why we're talking to them.

Or the Pistons. If they want an unprotected first for Bojan and then another to take on Russ, f*** them.

It honestly doesn't surprise me too much that some teams are keeping that stance.

No interest in Russ along with no interest in being the team that helps us. Particularly knowing that with the right move we could go on a run here.

Same reports we have seen for months. Nobody knows anything. I think we should already be clear that reporters don't know what we're doing.
These guys' careers depend on throwing these type of things to the media so they have to write something. All Rob moves were out of the blue since AD, which was a public discussion. Schroder, Harrell, Russ, Lonnie, Bev, Rui...all guys that came and no one one reported anything before.

So just sit back and relax. What happens, happens. It's cool to discuss it and project what would it be with this and that guy or if it makes sense to throw X pick or X player in X deal. But I don't believe in anything being reported

the problem is that there's too many conversations going on. i had hoped maybe the rui move would help set/start the market, but apparently not. as myers indicated, these guys talk all the time. i'm guessing we're talking to several teams about russ and bev trades, but they're all looking to see what they can get, too. a big domino or two has to drop. collins, anything in toronto, SA's cap space, etc.

So..you took the time to ask me in that game thread, if I would still be around if we lost to the Knicks, because I said we were going to win? Then you promptly disappeared after we won? Lol..meanwhile you took the time out today, to be all condescending, by telling me what I should or shouldn't post..FOH dude..ignore me then, I think there is a button for that. Or don't, I don't care either way.

Wiz have won 6 in a row since Beal came back lol: what a messed up organization can't even tank properly. A team that loves mediocrity

It’s going to be very interesting to see who actually becomes sellers and who they are willing to let go of at the deadline. One week to go. We still need shooting/spacing. Sounding more and more like Toronto might be blowing it up.

Neither of these Utah trades look good to me. Are any of these guys playing really well now? I know Conley has skills but seems injured all the time and I don't see Beasley or Gay doing anything for us. I am unfamiliar with Vanderbilt but I just look at all these guys as not worth the discussion.

On paper, the Raptors have the type of roster that most fans seem to want. Maybe they are just having locker room leader issues this season or something. Trent jr is trending down towards a more reasonable value as a trade option though. A few other Klutch clients have found their way to LA, since we signed Lebron. There may be a little smoke there.

    Christian Koloko
    OG
    Trent Jr
    FVV
    Nick Nurse

All repped by Klutch. If they do blow it up, we should get wind of it before most will and that might give us an inside track. Trent is the only one I think we can get, but I'm very curious to see their level of activity and the league wide fallout from it.

Yeah, not sure that the Utah trade moves the needle for me at this point. The one in the summer made sense to me to get Bogdanovich and Conley who I like. I think at that time we probably could've gotten Beasley instead of Gay if we insisted. The irony would be if we do this proposed trade and then a separate trade for Bogdanovich. It would essentially be the same thing but more expensive at this point as each would cost a FRP and we wouldn't be getting one in return from Utah as was reported in the earlier trade. But who knows what the details would be.

I still like Conley a helluva lot more than Russ. He's a good defender and does make it so Dennis goes to the bench where he is best utilized. Don't think we should be using our first on that trade though.

beasley's a talented headcase, imo. he's a walker-level player--better shooter, not as good on the dribble. gay's obviously cooked and his inclusion in any trade costs utah a 1st if i'm negotiating (i would have taken him in the summer, that's what danny gets for waiting).

vanderbilt is like the defensive version of rui, imo--young, tweener size. i'd like to get him if it were possible.

conley's an upgrade on russ when he's available.

yeah, that OG, trent, and supposedly fvv are all klutch is something worth paying attention to.
