You could have stopped your post right there. Zo makes AD look as durable as AC Green in comparison.

Maybe we could get Jeanie to bite on that by pitching it as a superstar homerun deal… because the added benefit is that it might piss off Luka enough to make him available down the line! Even if the Mavs end up doing something with that cap flexibility, I’m sure it would be a tough pill to swallow for Luka in his prime to see Cuban punt a season where they’re sitting in 5th place just to clear salary.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I might dislike Payne as much as Crowder. Probably dislike both of them more than I did Beverley.

I don’t think Payne moves the needle for us much at all. He’s not nearly as good a defender as Beverley, and he’s really not shooting THAT much better or higher volume than Bev. I think he’d just take away time from Schröder who has been very productive.

And to lose Gabriel on top of that would really sting.

payne is a rat looking little piece of s***. f*** that clown. guy had one good playoff series and talked as if he was the second coming of MJ

i never truly hated pat bev, but i would feel the way most of you did about pat bev coming here if payne were to come

.780 from here on out, if the team is healthy it is possible, the schedule is weaker, it all hinges on health. There is very little evidence of this team having perfect health besides the beginning of the season the results of which I blame on new coach, new system, new players.

I said it was a tall order but it is far from impossible. AD playing like the man he was pre-bone spur and LBJ is already there. Reaves back and in his groove as well as Walker returning to form, Rui getting further integrated. And, I am still expecting a move, Rob has said as much. Throw a Bogdonavic and/or a Gary Trent Jr into the mix and off we go.

It is very easy to be a pessimistic, doomsaying fan and I won't argue with one (just generally speaking not pointing at you), honestly I am sick of them. Why bother following a team if you expect everything to be rosy, just come back around every 6 years and jump on the bandwagon.

Yes, I have seen that he turned himself into a good shooter. However, he is always injured and we already have TWO major pieces that haven’t remained healthy enough over the course of the last two and a half seasons to give us a chance of success. Adding TWO more who have spent way to much time in street clothes over the recent past is just a recipe for disaster.

I just assume you are pointing at me now. I think you are kind of full of yourself. I have been watching this team religiously since Jerry West was a rookie. FWIW, I still enjoy watching the team even when I know they are not going to win. But, I am not putting my head in the sand and act like we have the odds on our side. I have NEVER been a win or die fan. I have talked numerous times about the journey and being able to appreciate the struggle, no pain no gain, appreciate the competition and recognize their greatness when it is present because beating crappy teams is not nearly as emotionally satisfying as beating great teams.

That being said, I have not seen enough to think we have more than a 10% chance of winning and to me, that would be a leap. Don't give me a bunch of BS because I can't jump on your bandwagon. I've been doing this for longer than you have been alive. I sat at the radio and listened to almost every loss to the C Bags under Russell and have paid dues as a fan that few here will ever understand. Don't need some upstart wannabe Lakers fan think they have some right to call me out, or others who feel like I do. If you don't like what I am saying, my suggestion to you would be to block me, ignore my posts.

My suggestion is to quit making statements about people who don't see life your way as being some kind of deplorables that should be ignored. If you don't want to follow someone, their is a feature on this site that will allow you to do just that.

Interesting Siakam is now being mentioned. Are they really blowing this thing up?

I wasn't pointing at you and either way, how would that make me full of myself? One thing doesn't equate to the other. You strike me as a little self-important. Actually reading your current post, I take that back, most definitely pointing at you.

And good for you, my first live Laker game was in Jerry West's last season and I really don't feel special because of it. As for ignoring...wasn't it you who replied to me with your bashing? I suggest you take your own advice, ignoring is for p****** who can't deal.

Let's go get this win tonight! We have 30 games left.. a 20-10 finish is the floor IMO, I expect us to do better than that. We control our own destiny, we are 4 games out of 4th in the West today. We have 23 games left against Western Conference teams, with only 2 games involving a team currently behind us in the standings. Milwaukee, Memphis and the Clippers are the only teams on the schedule that are at least 4 games over 500.

All we have to do is win games moving forward, improbable or not, the ball is in our court. Doable as hell IMO!!

I blocked him, otherwise I will continue to go around and round with his BS.

He rarely bugged me until he started calling people out for thinking this team was done for the year. He was making comments to newbies about some of us that to me was way out of line. Frankly, I think the mods should talk to him and give him a shorter leash. His comment about folks who don't believe they have a good shot at winning, should not even be fans of the team. WTF is that?? He was the one calling out people for not seeing things his way, he was making comments about people who think this team was not going to do well in the playoffs. Tired of the BS hypocrisy. He needs to stop this BS

Fans are allowed to talk about the good and bad of the team, I am not someone who will harp on and on and on about the negative points, but acknowledging the truth should be an OK thing to do.

Sorry for the rant and you won't see me getting into it with Alcinder anymore.

This team would be title favorites if they had moved Brick for Hield and Turner
