I wonder what the Magic’s price is for Gary Harris? I’ve been thinking of him as a sneaky move we can make that hopefully would come cheap.

He’s only played 20 games so far this year, so I’m not sure if there is an injury concern, but he’s shooting 50% from the field and 47% from three.

I had heard the word on him was that his shot had declined in Orlando, but he’s remained a very good defender. So if he’s found his shot again, he could be a nice pickup.

He’s making $13 million this year and next year, so we could pencil him into the rotation for next season too or flip him down the line if needed. I wonder if the Magic would like to just get off his contract and we could get him for Beverley and a second?

I'm hoping more for a consolidation trade: Lakers have too many guys who could argue for increased minutes during the regular season and not enough guys that for sure you would play in a finishing lineup.

I’d take just about anyone with a pulse over Pat Bev.

Yeah best consolidation trades would probably be 3 for one like Pat Bev, Jones and JTA for a sniper SF like Bogdanovic or Pat Bev, Lonnie and Jones for a starting/closing level SG like Gary Trent Jr. The problem is that both will probably require a First round pick. But hopefully we could get one of them with some protection on it.

i feel like gordon and gary harris are both guys that shouldn't require 1sts in trade but who knows what their team wants.

i still think burks is a great fit for our needs, and he shouldn't take a 1st, either, imo.

i'm not sure ham/pelinka would see josh richardson or terrence ross as an upgrade over bev, especially richardson--because he has another year on his contract.

Much as we don't like Bev he has been playing well. Still would like him in a deal for something better and more to fill a glaring need.

Yes to Turner. But I wonder what Indy will do with him, if they will come to terms or not. Indy's been slipping in the standings. I'm curious if they will be sellers after all.

    Highlights:
-Blazers listening to offers for Nurkic and Hart
-Nuggets gauging the market for Bones
-Bucks looking for a defensive wing for around $10m
-Pelicans linked to Collins (I've seen this a couple different places today). Could be in the OG race if there is one.
    -Jazz active in various conversations

I think any of these could work: Burks, Bogdanovic, Gary Trent Jr or OG.

Rob waiting for the real shopper's market to empty just before the deadline. When GMs and owners realize they aren't getting all these FRPs they want they'll have to take what they can get. Indy, The Hornets, Toronto, the Jazz, SAS, all of them will realize there aren't any Minisotas left.

Rob for sure isn’t trading both firsts, Austin, Max, Walker and a bunch of seconds for OG. That’s what it would take for us to come close.

Yeah, I'd love to get OG, but I don't think we can afford him. One of the others, sure.

Turner remains the most impactful pickup IMO. Picking up Myles transforms our defense, and his offensive game would mesh with AD. Funny that he wants to play 5 not 4 too.

I get folks want to " enhance " Lebron with "shooters" and all that. However Lebron has avg 30 ppg two sessions in a row now, he doesn't need much help IMO. AD though, imagine him having a frontcourt partner that is All NBA Defense caliber, with both playing their position of preference. It's the best look at enhancing AD moving forward IMO. Turner sets good screens and he can pop out to the 3pt line and knock down shots. This is a Championship caliber squad for a couple of seasons, we can worry about replacing Lebron after next season.

I'd give up Bev,Walker and a FRP for Turner.

Preferably Bev, Jones and Bryant with the FRP.

We go into the offseason over the cap, and bring the bulk of the team back and add a FRP and a 2nd to the mix. Win, win, and that would be a deep and talented squad moving forward.

Push comes to shove, I'd rather give up 2 FRP for Myles over OG. Turner is only 1 year older, and on this team, his defensive presence would make more impact. Hell..Turner is shooting 40% from 3 this season, we could definitely turn him into our version of Brook Lopez.

If we need a shooter why not just get Hield with Turner? I still think that was the deal to be made. Turner helps the defense, Hield gives us our starting SG that is shooting almost 43% from 3 this year, 17.7 ppg. I really wish we’d revisit this. It also gets rid of Russ, which is probably my favorite part of the deal.
