Let's be accurate about what you're doing vs minimizing to make it just you and me.

"No.. you, basically everyone else on this Lakers site, the best of the reporters that cover the sport, Twitter Guys, Frank Vogel last year and Ham this year ... 'just have the Westbrook problem man.' " Everything from all of you is "over the top stuff". Slick you insult our intelligence.

Man we haven't done much of anything on the basketball court, beside the bubble, in over a decade. I'm just being pragmatic about it, we could quabble all day about the supporting cast, if the headliners aren't right. It's a wrap regardless.

It doesn't mean that Russ is without fault. He just isn't as big of a problem, as he's made out to be IMO. Yeah I saw him in Houston, he was pretty good here, but Harden conceded some of his game for Russ, that made their team better. Lebron isn't conceding anything for anyone, unless they can just get out of his way, and hit the jumper when he calls on them. Hey that works with a healthy AD, it doesn't work otherwise, because Lebron ain't that dude anymore. We have 3 years of evidence on this subject. Multiple teammates, different HC, similar results

You will be happy if he gets traded, and if AD isn't right, you are going to hate the new guys. It is what it is.

It's the Finals or bust every season. No point of low expectations on that.

i disagree with most of slick's assertions in this latest argument, but there's some truth here. we see a lot of green grass elsewhere. not LT in particular, but just in general. everybody wanted kuz gone and vogel fired, etc. these things did not have the effect of making people happy.

this is the quote people keep using to justify the insane conspiracy beliefs? what do people think "the end" means? feel like we've been entirely clear that those picks are gone if we see a deal that makes us a contender. which deal have you seen that warrants moving them? since there hasn't been one, why would you propose moving them before such a deal materializes, as it would almost certainly require those picks (and more)? so where's the lie and who's being lied to?

I'm no longer a fan of Beal or this team. For the last FIVE seasons, he has shot league average or below from three, and he has been injury prone. Sure, you could make a legitimate argument of him playing off the ball and just draining open threes, but man it's hard to tell if something bad really did happen to his shot. Basically, we can't afford to be taking any more gambles like that. If we make a trade, we need to make sure it's for players who fit 100%

What? Bradley Beal is tall, @ 6'4". That's PF size for us.

I actually think Beal would fit in very nicely with LeBron and AD offensively, but yeah the number of missed games between he and AD is very concerning. In general, having a SG with some creation ability would be great. We could play him and Reaves and actually have some decent size in the backcourt.

"some rival teams believe" lots of things. i'm going to yell about things that rival teams think about another team.

rival teams all thought our management didn't understand the cap, too.

actually, they didn't. they just hate the lakers and like to say things that make us sound dumb.

Buddy Hield leads the league in 3s made and is shooting 42.7 percent on 9 attempts a game. He is 24/34 (71%!) from three in his last five games.

A combination of Rozier and Washington would be good pieces to help get us where we need to go..

I'm still dwelling on not trading for him in the first place when he was in Sacramento

They would have been ripped off had they made that trade

    https://www.theringer.com/nba/2021/7/28/22598900/lebron-james-los-angeles-lakers-buddy-hield-trade

That was too much to give up for Hield.
