Of course you do .... you're in your own "you're right" bubble and every single other smart enough person about basketball, like you, on this site is wrong (about Russ). In his PRIME Russ got to the Finals on a much deeper and stacked with other really good players more so than the Lakers are at this stage of LeBron's career even with a healthy Davis since he (Russ) got here, and lost (additional depth we could have had ... stop bringing up the goddamn role players couldn't beat Phoenix answer to everything) (to the "interchangeable" role players we have now) .... and another superstar in KD just one time and lost. Granted to LeBron's stacked Heat. That same-in his-prime Russ on that same loaded more than our current team made it past the 2nd round only 2 times and lost the conference Finals. Russ is no longer that Prime Russ and has been past the first round once in the last 6 years, to lose to us.

Good God you are rambling bro. So tell me again...what would LT have done instead of the Russ trade. The team was already over the salary cap and Schroder was unsigned. What is your plan?

Back to Westbrook..that dude lost to the Lakers in Houston, and carried sorry a** Washington to the playoffs. What kind of evidence are you presenting that says that he should have done more? AD is our problem man, he was our solution in the bubble though. The rest of that diatribe is just Westbrook hate..most of out chip team was here in the year before AD, and the season after the Chip, we only won with AD. Rus,Reaves, Walker,...just as good as KCP, Kuzma and Caruso to me. Actually better IMO.. Lebron has slipped some, and AD has been MIA. THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

Save yourself a lot of time and frustration @LTLakerFan and just say Russ is a point god and type 21 games until your fingers bleed.

HE SHIPPED OUT A TEAM FOR TRASHBRICK.
The asinine thinking of this dude crying to everyone else about the team HE ASKED FOR.
This isn’t NBA2K- you can’t just snap your fingers and make favorable trades for yourself. You actually have to provide another GM with something of value in return. The dude LeGM CHOSE currently has none.

@Cookie Yeah. Hold My Beer Ham was so impressed with Russ playing with this late career stage of LeBron and "superstar" AD in the starting lineup against other teams' starters that he finally had to convince / tell him to come off the bench, and then had to start sitting him in crunch time because of all his f*** ups .... before Ham went stupid again and forgot to keep his a** planted in crunch time because of the fools gold of great looking play at other times in the game.

And Anthony Davis is in street clothes yet again, which renders it all a moot point.

Facts are Kuz and KCP played good individual defense and team defense and hit shots when the other one didn’t. Like good role players do. They also didn’t make momentum destroying plays game in and game out. Kuz and KCP with AD works better than by themselves. WB doesn’t work with anyone, no matter who it is. Facts.

Russell Westbrook's current level of play INCLUDING all the eff ups waiting to happen ... frequently ... at any point in the game .... including crunch time, that exist with his typically lousy (career long as you like to point out) shooting ..... which come along with his still very capable point guard play and rebounding and passing, along with his generally also lousy defense ..... EXIST .... whether or not LeBron or AD are healthy and playing to the best of their abilities. They're separate issues. It's who HE is regardless.

sorry but there's been other "contenders" that have had injuries in key players and that did alright.

look at Denver for example, they lost Murray and MPJ and still made the playoffs.

none of them had a 47 million mammoth contract on a player that is a giant minus on the floor though.

We could overcome AD's absence if our 3rd star was not total crap, or if we didnt trade most of our depth to get him. Maybe not win, but at least be somewhat competitive.

Lol..I'm not sure what team some of you are following, but besides the chip season, the Los Angeles Lakers hadn't made it out of the 1st rd since 2010.
Well how in the hell, can he's been to the playoffs, more than Kuz,Kcp and AD then? That s*** doesn't make any sense. Sounds good on a message board tho. Kyle Kuzma couldn't guard a parked car dude..when he was here or now.

The Truth is we suck without a healthy AD. I already presented the facts on this subject .

No..I would have shipped Russ out in a heartbeat for Kyrie. I'm just not buying into Russ is supposed to be some savior for AD being MIA. Lebron either

We aspire to be the Denver Nuggets now? OK so what is your idea about what moves we should have made instead of the Russ trade? I keep asking this question but all I get is crickets, and some more Westbrook, Lebron blah blah blah

They should have done the Kyrie trade if it was available around the time he was suspended. Kyrie gives us an elite shooter and shot creator that Lebron would defer to at the end of games. It would be infinitely better than Lebron just launching step back threes..

Savior? Laugh all our a**es off at this point and you know that's not what's being said. How typically disingenuous of you. You should have the common sense to know his level of play Good or Bad is a separate issue from whatever happens with those two. Hold My Beer Ham stupid as he is about the starting lineup once he benched Russ .... even knows it.

I totally agree.. An elite scorer is what Lebron needs. Not a bunch of role players waiting on him to do the heavy lifting. That was supposed to be AD's job. At least we got a taste of it. Kyrie would be insurance if either got hurt.
