Yup...Paul is like that comedian Kevin Hart. Not really that funny and after awhile gets on your nerves.
Actually just like Hart I kind of liked him before, but now I find his act has worn out. I hope DeAndre sees it that way!
I woke up a little too early and was bored so wrote this up, no idea where to put it so why not here. Was going to come back and fill in with details later but now I'm lazy.
Not a sexy name. Hey, if we strike out, though, you never know; good veteran presence, could still be fairly productive
Chandler will not be asked to play heavy minutes at the 5. I don't know the current situations or possibilities [2 lazy] with Black or Davis but one of them will get healthy minutes in relief. Chandler is smart, a good locker room presence and would be a valuable mentor. Then there's that Upshaw kid...
is that kj guy trying to pump up chandler or trash jordan? in any case, i think swapping chandler and jordan makes a lot of sense for both teams. jordan is a better overall player at this point, but the clips can't use him to the fullest with their roster makeup. might as well spend less on a d and dunk guy. the mavs could give jordan a few post touches against smaller teams (something chandler doesn't really bring), and it would represent an upgrade over some of their current offensive "options" (i.e., the devin harris pull up three).
I think it'd be a huge mistake for Jordan to go to the Mavs. He'd be immediately exposed for not being able to create offense and he'd have absolutely no one there to get him the ball. Even if he showed tremendous growth, he wouldn't be reliable as a post presence, he'd be an "opportunistic" post player picking his spots. The Mavs wouldn't be terribly competitive with him and superstar Chandler Parsons going along with the older Dirk. The only reason for him to return there now is because he's from there. Otherwise he's losing out on the market AND the competitiveness for less money. I'm not sure I see the fit. Now if he REALLY wants Dallas, then the sign and trade makes a TON of sense. Chandler gets to go home AND go back to CP3, he'll love it. Those guys need a veteran with championship experience anyway.
the mavs produced more points off the lob than lac last year until they moved wright. in other words: you don't need chris paul to create those looks. a good offense with some competent passers and shooters can do it. really, it's dirk's presence as a shooter that opens that WAY up for roll men in their offense. one could argue that griffin's inability to shoot and desire to score in the paint cut into some of jordan's potential effectiveness. the clippers have obviously topped out and have limited routes to improvement. and he's not taking less money, as he's (intelligently, i think) opted for a shorter deal to maximize money under the new cap. i think jordan would look better in dallas than he did in la, and i think chandler will look the same in la, and that's all they need. plus his leadership.
Since when is parsons a big deal? Cuban is an a-hole owner that clashes with players and coaches and donnie & carlisle are meh Imo it comes down to us or SA and a dark horse in the raptors if he wants to win the Leastern conference .
Dallas has no point guards. Ellis is gone and not coming back. Rondo is gone and not coming back. Barea wants more than they want to give him, who is throwing lobs to Jordan in Dallas? Is it Devon Harris? I don't find that soothing at all as a free agent.
