Was just about to post this. He wants to not feel like he's behind those two... Hm... Well sorry guy but you kind of are. You can't create your own offense.

If it's a question about being wanted, we want ya! But I'm not sure how you'd be viewed as far as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd option. I guess technically you're the 2nd option behind Kobe!

jordan would have a bigger role with the lakers or mavs, and make the same money. i think the clips should be concerned, but we'll see.

even if we can't get DeAndre, i just want to see him leave the Clippers...they would become mediocre and their fans would miss the glory days when they would reach the 2nd round

I'd love to see DJ on this team. Even with his FT shooting. He's a defensive beast, super athletic, young... Of all the names being mentioned, he's the best fit. If he wants to have an important role, he should consider signing with us. He doesn't even have to move. And not having to wear that awful Clippers jersey is always a plus too.

I agree. I'm on the Aldridge-wagon for now because he seemingly is more open to being here, but Jordan would be a HUGE addition. Literally! I definitely have teased Clipper fans about his BBIQ, but he'd be a tremendous addition here and would fit just great. Especially as we make runs at guys going forward. Even if Kobe retires and we luck into Durant, I think Jordan would still be the 2nd option technically although we'd have plenty of other capable young guys as well.

Yeah yeah Pat Doney then factor in endorsement opportunities, commercial opportunities, and business opportunities. Which city helps his brand more, Dallas or LA?

It's not all about the basketball contract.

I mean, if Kobe can teach Deandre a few basic post moves and footwork, he would be actually a devastating player.

I honestly don't see the draw for him in Dallas though other than the money and it being his home state. They currently don't have a playmaker for his skillset and likely won't have the money to sign one if he signs.

If LA, he will be one of the older players on the team leading the way. He will get the looks from not one, not two, but THREE capable playmakers in Kobe, D'Angelo, and JC. Additionally, he'll be the main option on lobs instead of competing with Blake on the Clippers. He'll be able to stay in LA, be on a SUCCESSFUL franchise, and still compete on a young team rather than an aging Dirk and what...Parsons? Please.

I agree, and I'm sure Pat knows that, too. DJ is obviously aware of it. He's been in Los Angeles his whole career. Something tells me he stills sticks with the Clips

I've never seen the Clippers run a one on one iso for Jordan to boost his confidence even if it is just for giggles. He's not plodding stiff. We'd probably throw him a bone once in awhile not to mention make him feel like one of the leaders. Oh and Jordan won't have an annoying midget whining in his ear.

All Jordan has to learn is the Shaq rule: if you're bigger than them, run to the front of the rim, make yourself big, jump straight up and dunk the damn ball. Free throws be damned! It's the And-One opportunities you want!

Yeah probably. That extra year plus a chance to compete at a high level for a while? I'm not sure how real the "beef" between him and Paul is, but I don't know if it's enough for him to take off. Still, the Lakers have a great pitch for him too even if it's basically the same one they give to Aldridge. We've got a lot to offer.

If he's looking for more of a leadership role, that's definitely us.

Right? I mean, getting deep position, jump and a turn around hook shot wouldn't be too much to ask. I doubt that many centers today would be able to reach that shot. A subtle head fake and blam, and 1.

Even the dummy Dwight Howard does it on occasion.
