Agree. Given Ziegler's approach about running backs with New England and White waiting in the wings, I don't see Jacobs back next season.

The whole team including the coaches were "DNP"...

    Barring a miracle, season's OVER.

Dreadful. I had really built up some hopes with this team, too.

Unlisted yet de facto QB3 on those great '70's Raider teams. Hit the Superdome scoreboard like three times. R.I.P. - Ray Guy.

    Wow. Raiders waive Johnathan Abram.

    First Round Pick
    Starter from day 1.
    Injured on day 1.
    Posted 202 tackles in 2020-2021.
Never held opponents below 109.7 passer rating when targeted in his first three seasons. Weirdly, was at 92.2 this season.
Missed a ton of tackles. But, again, he had that controlled this season.

    538.com says...
57% chance to beat the Chargers
    50/50 vs. Rams
    52% chance vs. the Patriots
    49% chance vs. the Steelers

    38% chance vs. the 49ers
    29% chance vs. the Chiefs

So, there's a respectable chance the Raiders are 8-7 going into the final two weeks of the season. Is it too late to hope?

Man I was at the game Sunday. I forgot to record the damn game luckily there is a replay on Friday. Want to see if we made the tv lol. The team is balling and playing hard for each other. The Raider Nation was deep at Lumen Field. For the game, outside of the asinine 4th and short call I thought we had a solid offensive game plan. Defense gets a lot of heat but they actually had a great game. The fact we didn't capitalize on 4 great defensive stops in 3rd and beginning of the 4th really hurts us. The blonde female ref called some BS against including that holding call that gave Seattle the first down which turned into a score late in the game. It was the same side of the field where DA was held on that single hand catch.

Two weeks in a row we found a way to get it done when it mattered. Winning breeds winning. We found ways to lose early in the season but it feels like we turned the corner. The Charger game will be huge because it is division and we need to make a statement. If we are to recover from our early woes this will be the platform we need to stand on.

Here's a look at that OL
Parham 697 snaps, 11 starts, 2 penalties (holdings), 3 sacks allowed, 62.5 PFF
    Miller 654 snaps, 10 starts, 4 penalties, 3 sacks allowed, 79.3 PFF

    Bars 595 snaps, 9 starts, 2 penalties (1 hold), 3 sacks allowed, 48.3 PFF
    James 583 snaps, 9 starts, 3 penalties, 1 holding, 1 sack allowed, 57.0 PFF
Eluemunor 560 snaps, 8 penalties ( false starts, 2 holding), 2 sacks allowed, 68.5 PFF
    Munford 333 snaps, 3 starts, 4 penalties (2 holding), 1 sack allowed, 61.8 PFF

    Simpson 125 snaps, 2 starts, 1 penalty, 0 sacks allowed, 63.6 PFF
    Cotton 90 snaps, 1 start, 0 penalties, 0 sacks allowed, 56.8 PFF
    Herron 17 snaps, 0 starts, 1 penalty, 0 sacks allowed, 55.4 PFF
    Barton 1 snap, 0 starts, 0 penalties, 0 sacks allowed, 60.0 PFF

Parham and Munford have been honestly pretty damn good. Parham leads the team in snaps and has played well. Munford has had his share of penalties, but that's to be expected for a rookie. Miller continues to cement himself as one of the best OTs in the league. And aside from his incredible number of penalties, Eluemunor has been good. Mostly a young offensive line.

    Bars is 27
    Eluemunor is 27
    Miller is 27
    Cotton is 26
    James is 25
    Simpson is 25
    Munford is 23
    Parham is 23

Good to see the squad pull off two straight. Growing pains which makes me hesitant to trust this crew.

Tomorrow will be huge for this team. Everyone has hammered the team as garbage and the coaching sucks and yada yada yada. With the exception of the Saints game (24-0) this team has loss 5 of 6 games by less than a 6 point TD and the other one was 7 point loss. This isn't a team that sucks. This is a team that can't complete the mission. We have to learn how to "win" the game. We almost came up short the last two games but found the way to get the W. I really believe these guys are learning the coaches schemes better. People are touting the Chargers but they have 2 more wins than we do. Josh should have a big game. I think Carr is also finally finding some rhythm too. Can we do it? SKill wise... yes. Recent history (season wise)... man thats a tough one to know for sure.

Im ready for win #3 in a row!

The two TD's off Carr's pick six and a great play by Allen made the score closer than what it is.

Take care of business on Thursday and we might be on to something...

This is now a trap game. LA coming off 6 losses, they lost their defensive leader and they may have Baker Mayfield coming in at QB. We cannot mess around with this team. Our hopes for the playoffs is really small but we have to win and go into the last 2 weeks firing on all cylinders to beat the 49ers and KC (which Carr has never gotten the best of)

We're the consensus pick in the media to win tonight. Last time that happened was against Arizona and Indianapolis. We all know how that turned out.

Time to move on from Carr.
    Franchise Jacobs.
See what sort of QB might be available in the draft (we currently have the #9 pick - won't be good enough for a game ready starter, but we could draft a project).
