I think trading Bev and Nunn is still a good deal. Trading Russ will not happen now.

That’s it, at least dump these two and try to get the best possible player(s) back.

Unless we want to get Bron hurt too, we need another big body to eat at least 12 minutes a night. The answer isn't more Bron at 5.

Since we're in no rush to make a trade, we need to start bringing in some big man insurance -- Boogie, Aldridge, Favors, Monroe, WCS. Get one in on a non guaranteed deal. We're still a few weeks away from 10 days and I don't think we can wait that long.

AD is made of glass. He can' t stay healthy if his life depended on it. Replays of that injury was simply him coming down and not on anyone's feet either....

No way should the Lakers entertain any trades that has them taking on salary for next season now, and without AD and outside shooting this team is toast....

Embarrassment from Pelinka and the entire management for the construction of the roster the last two seasons, highlighted of course by the ludicrous Westbrook trade....

Lakers right now are the joke of the NBA

i think the issue is that we kept a roster spot open for a purpose (trade), so they won't want to sign someone and have to cut them immediately. think they'll wait until the 10-day.

this means jones is going to have to see the floor...

Let Russ expire, trade Nunn's and Bev's a**, recall Pippen, play Max and that's it.
Damn Jeanie will save some money and Rob can sit on his hands even longer. FML

    That's fine.

Or we play Wenyen or Bryant heavier minutes.

AD is such a huge huge disappointment, he completely injured himself in seeking to get fouled, Jovic did nothing, and in the process wrecked our season. We have almost no other option now except to go all in on Myles Turner or to just write off the season.

I'd probably engage Detroit or ATL and offer a protected pick for Bogdan or Bojan with Bev going out in either deal. Nunn would be going out in the Bojan deal.

Probably time to close this thread for the 2022-2023 season. Lakers ain't trading s*** knowing now that AD is out a month which all but ends the Lakers season as having any chance of competing in the playoffs.

Exactly, you have to trade him to have the salary asset.

this is where you talk to charlotte involving hayward and some picks coming our way for russ.

i've detailed how that can work for us. it's crucial that management understands where russ's head is at concerning his salary next year and if he'd be open to returning in a similar role. if that's a no-go, he's got to go for anything we can get before february.

i actually imagine rob and co are talking to lebron, russ, and ham right now.
