    ny and indiana.

ny wants to do the same as us: aggregate rose/reddish/whatever and get an impact player back.

and the more i think about it, the more i think indy will only trade turner for a player they value. we've mentioned anunoby. well, the raptors have been after turner for a while, i think.

How much is a 1st round pick worth in a trade?

i wouldn't be shocked because it's Rob, but for a capped team, letting a $47 million expire is a terrible move.

we're technically not capped out, though. as it stands, we could have a fair amount of cap space. not the route i'd go, obviously.

    1. Beverly, Christie, and 2027 1st round pick to Toronto for Trent.

    2. Westbrook, Jones, and 2029 1st to Charlotte for Rozier, Oubre, and Plumlee.

I'm not moving Christie in any package. He would not bring any return even close to his eventual value. 2-3 years from now he is going to be our long sought 3&D wing.

Yes, I’m COMPLETELY DONE with moving young guys for barely anything in return. Look at how well THT for BevMo has turned out.

I would only move him for another young 3&D like OG.

As for us adding a player: our coaching staff is playing BevMo as a “wing.” This an obvious problem that needs to be fixed. I get it that these types are not readily available, but with Russ playing better, Rob does have a path to trade for one.

iffy on 1sts in both scenarios. they'd need protections, at best, i think.

agree with general sentiment, though i think we can't judge the THT trade until we see out things play out. if we use bevs' contract in a trade, it's a win, because THT's contract status would have made him harder to move.

If it helps win a ring this season, would you do it?

Yes, but in your proposal it's Christie plus a 1st which with our scouts may well be a future star. So, I would not do it.

So you wouldn't do it to win a ring this season. Okay.

he's been a minus defender pretty much his whole career so far, and advanced stats really don't love him. he's a lot like hield, imo. better contract for similar production, though.
