love that trade. not sure the knicks go for it. basically giving up a 1st to dump fournier. doesn't seem like something dolan would want.

and i'm really not sure indy is interested in moving turner at all anymore. unless he's signaled that he's definitely not going to sign there, which probably wouldn't be smart at this juncture.

That's an awesome trade, but like abeer -- I am not sure the Knicks would go for it. Indy maybe would, their return is solid with those 2 picks.

I'm not sure if there are any centers available that fit that criteria. I wonder if we could get Trent for that package. He is a Klutch client and he is having a down year, hitting only 31% from three. Add to that the fact that he has an opt-out after this season. This kind of trade would make sense. Trent is only 23. This would be a buy-low opportunity.

I have a feeling everyone is going to demand the 2 picks for any solid contributor unless we have traded one away already.

the more i think about it, the more i think that bevs/nunn for the right perimeter player is really the answer. who that player is depends on what's available. when i thought sac would be terrible, barnes was my target. but the atl bogdanovic, trent, even gordon...there are some possibilities.

let's keep winning and find ourselves in the driver's seat for trades.

That's probably the easiest trade to do for those two players and a pick. We need a perimeter player who can shoot and is not afraid to jack up 7-8 threes a game, every game. That alone would improve us tremendously, because it would open up more space for AD, Bron and Lonnie to operate. And even Westbrook, for that matter.

the more we win; the better our position to get such a guy, imo. there is no december deadline.

Yeah. AD is on a tear. We can ride that wave and nab a guy we really want.

I’ve been harping on about it. But aside for Turner for 1 pick, Bev and Nunn, I’m not trying to get a C.

AD is beasting on all the C’s right now and we are a better team because Lebron is at PF.

I want a SF. One that can shoot and isn’t a sieve on defence. If raptors ask for 2 firsts and Max Christie, Nunn and Bev for OG. I’m taking that.

Good idea. OG checks the boxes of a big wing who can both shoot and defend. I like it. He could hit threes at a decent clip, he has size, and he could defend. Sounds like an awful lot to give up for OG, but there is just a premium for wings with that skill set, and his contract is very reasonable. I would do that if it could be in conjunction with a Charlotte deal. I mean if the Hornets really want to dump salary and tank, we could trade Westbrook/Jones for Rozier and a broken Hayward.

OG can also be an excellent running mate for AD after Lebron retires. But it’s probabaly a pipe dream.

I understand the appeal of Rozier, decent shooter and an ok playmaker, prototypical Lebron PG. But I’m not doing that trade, Russ’ playmaking off the bench is more valuable for me - warts and all.

I'm still doing the Turner/Hield trade if still on the table for the two picks if a deal can be agreed with Turner to sign a new contract next year.

I don't see any other better fit out there than these two, whereas someone like DeRozan can really screw up the chemistry again with how much he needs the ball in his hands.

Yeah. I’m still a fan and think this coaching staff would be able to get the most out of him.

I hear you. Russ ahs been great. But remember: Buy low and Sell high. Lonnie and Dennis could pick up the slack for Russ off of the bench.

with the way they've been playing lately, it feels like the chances they trade russ decreases with each win

he's played pretty well this season but i'm still fine with moving him
