^ I think alot of us, including myself, are nervous about signing the old guys, given our recent history with injuries.
biyombo didn't get a QO, so he's unrestricted. that's useful. edit: and if Tyson is available, the lakers should grab him. good vet leader, local guy, and I think he'll be a solid center for at least two more years. his salary would leave some left over to snag another contributor, too.
Im sure Doc/Clippers are eyeing him too. He's played with CP3 before. Will be interesting to see how that whole situation turns out
Dogg, we done talked about him for pages. He's good, but he's not the difference maker Jordan is, and Jordan is in his prime.
T-Rodgers the Clippers had to do so much coddling to have him play this well. There's no way he gets that amount of hand-wringing here at Laker land. He is a good player but is he a good fit for us? Omer Asik is also another guy that intrigues me. He stunk in 2015 playoffs but if he can be had on the cheap like Chandler he'd be a good get although not the most exciting.
I think he's a tremendously good fit, honestly. I'd prefer Jordan to Aldridge, for what it's worth. Chandler would be a solid option but not as good an option. He's not as good offensively or defensively (but he's close), and he's older. Statistically, Jordan is dominant in a way that LMA isn't.
