Yep, since Rob came over our deals were not leaked before, apart from AD. Russ, Schroder, Harrell, Bev...all our big deals were kept secret

Also, it seems the market is heating with the news today about Collins and Tobias

    Agreed.

I saw the news today too and definitely think we're in the mix. Not sure about those names but I do believe the market is thawing a bit and we will start to see things happen.

In fairness to the front office, I think the craziness with the Nets did freeze things up quite a bit for most of the summer.

Btw, regarding Minny, Ant passed to Gobert in 4 out of 125 pick and rolls. That's pretty troubling...

I thought they might trade KAT to solve that mess but not sure it will work out for them. Pretty interesting franchise to follow in the next couple of years

Looking like Twitter is history soon? We'll be following all these guys conveniently where? Tik Tok? Instagram? Mastadon? Substack? Counter Social? Truth Social? Any damn Social?

Great idea you had there Elon while you had to have been HIGH.

I don't think Twitter will end but it has not been a good run for Elon so far to say the least.

Tweet or tweets has/have been such a convenient term and now part of our everyday language. Don't know what would replace it or how all these guys that get followed in Sports and real world issues end up in the same place if Twitter fails. Going to cost him much of his many billions to successfully rescue it now. What a bad f****** idea. In my nobody's opinion. Tesla shareholders thrilled too I'm sure. :swear: :swear: :swear:

i already knew this and am on team bolded. it all comes down to how likely you think we are to win a ring this year with whatever those picks can fetch. i say "not bloody likely". so keep them just in case a name becomes available soon (or later) that warrants a change to that assessment.

i don't value picks more than players at all. which is why it's ironic i've been supporting not trading the picks. i just know that all trades for all stars involve a ton of picks, and if you don't have them, you're not in the conversation. bad teams trading stars typically don't want 3 good players back. they want salary relief, a prospect or two, and picks. if we make it so that we can't move any, we're out when say, jokic or doncic or booker or whomever decides they're done with their small market.

Yup. You need BOTH( picks and younger, promising players who have shown they may turn into a great player one day).

We're better than that. Cannot support a wife and kid beater.

I hope the only reason we're monitoring the situation is because of the salary implications/ trade options of their other players which may/may not depend on MB's NBA status

Elon is quite famous for starting projects that seem like complete failures and then turning them into vehicles that make him the wealthiest man on this planet. Go ahead, bet against him.
