Not in the same rarefied air yet as the same type of clips comparing Kobe having taken all Jordan’s moves to mirror perfection. What were the odds there of Kobe coming along as Mike 1A while Mike was still playing well in the game …. compared to all the players since Kobe and in the future that will never come close to that. But DAMN yeah BI …. that reminds a lot. Great work and study on the skills and technique last few years!

Glad to see BI learned some moves from the GOAT.
He has way too much Sam Perkins in his demeanor to be a decent comp.
Love to see how far he’s progressed.

What are you talking about Salley?

Kobe played 42 minutes and didn't get pulled until 4 seconds left. Is he trying to say if Kobe didn't sit at all? Even then, an extra 23 points in 6 minutes is pushing it. Was he thinking of the Dallas game? Cause that one he did get pulled (sat the 4th) and I felt that was an even better scoring output. But even then, he's putting up another 42 points in 15 minutes (if he played all 48)?

if lebrone is kept from getting the record somehow, that would be fascinating to see how that plays out. Wouldn't hurt my feelings, but I do find that unlikely.

these former players sometimes. and everyone treats their word as gospel. kobe was never threatening that 100 point game. even in that dallas game, which was absolutely incredible, btw, probably moreso than the 81.

i think he had two other games where he had 56 after three and sat, too.

really glad my prime hoop watching days were when kobe (and dirk) were in their primes.

I put a little more stock in his having been a host on Best Damn Sports Show for 8 year (not suggesting that is high brow but it's something where I'd think you wouldn't just make s*** up) and not only is he coming up with an impossible suggestion where the math just doesn't work. He is seemingly lying about a convo he had with Phil, which is in poor taste. But the worst part to me is it's fabricating a story about regarding a Kobe situation and since he's no longer with us, that sits the wrong way with me.

Shannon even called him on his recollection of Kobe's playing time in the Toronto game in real time and Salley just skated over it.

memories are fine however we want them to be. I remember Kobe shooting a left handed three in that Toronto game too.

Why do some former players like to trash current ones? I don't know any other sport that they do this

Salley has been saying some stupid s*** lately. All that dope is starting to f*** up his brain.

Weed isn't bad like coke or H, but I've seen enough grass heads in my life and they get r******* after a while.

One of the many reasons Kobe loved Pau so much.

Yeah. Same interview he selected players from each decade. It was DUMB. For instance he selected Big O. At some point he couldn't decide between Shaq and Dirk.
