    Or it could even be a combination of the two. We have room for two max contracts next summer. We could have the core group of 21-24 year old guys AND some veterans who are ready to compete right now... Our future isn't just bright. We could have a crazy fast rebuild over the next two summers if things go our way.

    With a bump in the cap from $67 mil to $91 mil, that is a load of paper. Two max contracts for the short run until our young core fully matures is very promising for our future indeed.

    Tarik is another well spoken young man. Good head on his shoulders. Liked the laugh he had with Serena with the "lotus flower" blast. I'm lovin' our young guys.

    I like how he felt kind of offended when the reporter asked if he's feeling more comfortable this year as a Laker. You could tell he's genuinely proud to be part of this organization.

    I think that's true, but I also think he genuinely feels at home here. I think he's embraced us and we've embraced him.

    We've got a great thing cooking with these young guys.

    Yeah he's got that short/thick neck and huge upper body, so I think he actually plays close to the 6'11 he's listed at, even though he's probably a bit shorter.

    Will be interesting to see Boom Boom play defense against Towns and Okafor if Lakers match him up against them. That would be awesome if he could do a relatively decent job since those guys are good and taller than him. Small bully ball option.
