A simple google will show you the content of the documentary. From several different sources.

Show me were I said that Kyrie made Antisemitic comments. All I said is he supported a documentary which made hateful comments. Which is a fact. Whats there to debate? You see me as an attacker, but not bothered by Kryie's support of an Antisemitic film. The irony is rich. Anyway, I don't want that clown on the lakers.

You're offended by "trumpy" but are upset at the snowflake woke agenda at the same time? lol. This is funny. Lets get back to basketball.

Moving the earlier discussion aside and sticking to basketball, on the court I do think he would be a good fit, when healthy.

The problem though is the off-court issues have started to impact his ability to play basketball games and his production particularly on defense has nose-dived. This was a guy in Cleveland who credibly could guard Curry but now he's getting roasted right and left (Boston targeted him over and over again as that series went on).

He's an absolutely incredible offensive talent: the most skilled basketball player maybe I've ever seen but I don't know if he can be that guy in Cleveland anymore. And like I said the off court issues make it difficult for his teammates as well. The Lakers theoretically have the ability to mitigate this with all their retired HOF'ers around (Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Shaq) and Lebron was the last person to get the most out of him but it's a legit open question

I am split on Kyrie. He's a good player but, let's face it, he is not helping the Nets win games at this point. I am starting to think that maybe Russ has found a useful role on this team. I am resorting to agreeing with the concept that we just need a couple of more solid role players who can fill needs. Someone who can shoot and someone who can help AD. It would be great if one of those guys could cover some of our wing needs.

Honestly I'm thinking more about locking up some of our young guys to decent contracts, and signing Turner to a new deal in the 20 million range next summer, if we could get him alone in a trade. We'd have the MLE and perhaps players from a Russ trade later, if we make one, on expiring contracts with Bird rights too. This way, we keep a core young rotation together, add a shooter through FA, and go over the cap to keep the Bird rights players. I'd prefer a trade this season, over looking exclusively to sign a big name FA. We could use another shooter right now, but I'd go for Turner 1st and then look for shooting in another minor trade or buyout market.

I’ll sign Jeffrey Dahmer dude if he can hit the three and defend the post. Come on now. It’s about winning. Kyrie is better than anyone on the team, one on one opportunities and especially in the clutch I would think:Laugh:

I've kinda cooled on Kyrie but Irving and Turner would be an excellent haul talent and fit wise. Availability though is the question mark. If you are willing to take the gamble, you might as well do it now and have the rest of the season and the playoffs to see how it works out. If it's a hard no on Kyrie, I'd stick with the other post. I'm a little murky on cap holds and such , but I think that we could keep the young guys, have a MLE and go over the cap to any amount for Irving and Turner last. Abeer?

I can’t believe anyone here still wants kyrie on this team. If he is traded for I’m out, I don’t support that s***, but whatever. Last few pages of this thread are a shining example of why the politics forum was closed. Anyway, more on Kyrie

Nothing is forcing you to use social media: look at Lebron for all controversy around him and that he creates around himself, he goes zero dark thirty during every stretch run. Once you get rich, the bubble forms around you and you just wish there was a strong family member saying hey if you want a platform then you have to be willing to reap the whirlwind good or bad. If you don't want to, you want to be rich, and enjoy life, more power to you - get off social media!

Also it certainly seems like some of these guy get less mature as they get older - Irving handling of the situation much less posting the anti-semitic documentary leaves a lot to be desired

That makes sense to me. If we can sign Turner and add a couple of shooters via trading some of our pieces, as well as sign some of our youngsters by the end of this summer, I’ll be a happy camper.
I sure hope our FO and LeGM have moved on from the “big splash” signing or trade that makes it impossible to build a proper squad.
