Sorry, not buying the apology from Kyrie. It's not a step, it's a PR stunt to keep the suspension only at 5 games.

He had every chance before this press release to walk it back but instead double and tripled down. The media gave him every branch to pull himself out of the quick sand. The only clearer wording they could have used would have been: "are you racist? Check yes or no." And even then he would've gone into some fake intellectual rant about knowing the dictionary. Oh wait....

The Nets wanted and expected an apology from him during that last media scrum and when he didn't do the right thing, they had to suspend him. Feels forced and fake. All this shows is that his PR person isn't racist. That's great.
