Hey...Kyrie is only a 4-5 game losing streak, before officially asking out of Brooklyn..again lol. Stephen A says that Irving still plans on getting on the Lakers by next season. Turner and Irving would be a hell of a swing for the fences by Rob.

Kyrie is such a pain in the a** to work with but it did work in Cleveland with Lebron. The defense in Brooklyn has been a disaster (losing Bruce Brown hurt them a ton) but jesus that would be a scary team a guy like Irving in a one out of offense with lob/3 pt shooting threats around him and then a twin tower defense to protect would be terrifying for most team

Yeah, that’s a good way to put it. Myles is simply good at everything a modern big should be good at. Good enough to keep you afloat when AD is out. Scoring, shotblocking, and of course shooting. His numbers are never going to be as good as healthy AD’s, aside from shooting the 3, but good enough. The only problem - you’ll have stretches when both are out. :(.
Personally, I’d risk it, because I don’t think you can win otherwise. Stars have to align for everyone, for every team that wants to win. But at least it would give us a chance.

True, but that Kyrie was much younger and less crazy. Man… so much talent, it’s unbelievable. If he didn’t have mental issues and was a bit taller, he’d be Kobe. Alas…

Definitely feels like he wants it to happen.

Also think Indy will just keep playing hardball. Maybe more now.

I’d also like to see what some of our other contracts can bring back.

It's all pure speculation, but maybe Kyrie needs a big brother that will put a foot in his a**(Lebron), over one that is just going to give him a hug and love him up (KD).

I read somewhere that was a good point. No way Woj was going to allow this to be aired without consent from Pacer's GM/front office. He wouldn't ruin his sources there.

I actually don’t want him anymore.
I don’t mind a little crazy, and I mostly wanted him so Russ would be gone, but who’s to say after year one of his massive new contract with us, he doesn’t get miffed about something here and want out? That is a gamble I wouldn’t take.

If the Kings continue to stink: lots of money tied into long-term contracts.

That's like saying crack is less harmful than meth.

Kyrie is a lost cause. Not in terms of his beliefs, I don't give a s*** about that. But in terms of his team first focus.

Rodman was an eccentric acquired taste too, put in the right situation though, he was worth all the zany stuff that followed him. I mean ..imagine a guy taking off to go on a Vegas gambling trip during the season today. Well...it's kind of like Kyrie's excursion last season for whatever reason he came up with. I can't remember if that was during the mask mandate thing or not.

We don't have the 4 million clear to pick him up, if I'm understanding his cap figure correctly Abeer?

he cleared waivers, so the spurs are responsible for his 4 million. anyone can sign him to any contract now.

they won't, though, because he's got some serious issues to sort out.

picking him up off waivers required having 4 million free to do so (which like, only the spurs had, ironically).
