    Yeah, wasn’t a blatant robbery though, since Suga kneed the heck of that pug head lol but Yan unfortunately has two suspect losses and should not be penalized in the rankings

    I had it 2-1 yan, but I perhaps value ground control more than the judges. I agree it wasn't a robbery though, many had Suga winning the fight.

    I think it goes to show what a mess MMA scoring is. They really need to ditch the 10 pts must system and transition to a new system built for MMA. I would love to see an incentivized scoring system based on winning categories. IE each round a fighter can receive up to 5 points based on outperforming their opponents in 5 categories; striking, grappling, takedowns, aggression, and octagon control. Or whatever you like. Judges could award the winner a point in a category if they felt a fighter did more in that area, and if need be give no points. Things like defense could be awarded too. IE if a fighter is 0 and 6 for takedowns the other fighter clearly gets that point. If a fighter gets taken down but gets right back up they could be awarded points in grappling. etc etc.

    Lastly, watching TJ fight with one arm was a thing to behold. I roll several times a week and having minor shoulder injuries sucks, i can't imagine rolling with a shoulder that keeps popping out.
