As far as Poole, I think if you shove someone you should be ready for them to hit back.

I don't know what was being said, but its safe to say things were heated. if a guy I'm going back and forth with it walks up to me, gets in my face, and I shove him away from me, I'm going to be ready to go.

I think his mouth wrote a check his butt (or in this case jaw) couldn't cash.

yeah, so i shove someone, but if my hands don't go up after that, i'm sucker punched?

poole just ain't about that life, it appears, and draymond most certainly is.

once again, i'm not championing green's behavior, but a cheap shot/sucker move is what pat bev did to cp3. this was just a guy thinking nobody would hit him.

I don't like Poole anyway, he runs his mouth a lot. I noticed that in our games last season, he's a talker.

Hmm... wonder if we can get the Pacers interested in the pick swap angle.

Would those who don't want to trade both picks be more open to it if we got one in return?

you would think indy would be taking the first offer they can get to unload hield/turner after seeing wemby play recently

they're not going to be worse than the spurs or jazz with those two still there

It's not like they are going to be any good, with Turner and Hield either though. They might end up getting traded without any draft picks coming back.

Yep, it would be like we would trade just one pick. It still needs to be for the right package

This is a perfect year for an expiring Russ. I wasn't aware of the Wenbeyama thing. Plus, it's a LOADED draft, there 5/6 legit great prospects.

We can definitely strike a great trade down the line. I'm really fine in waiting a couple of months

Couldn't give two s***s if Poole and/or Green fell threw a uncovered manhole.

this is what i've been waiting to hear more about! that leak was still intentionally vague, but as jsm implicitly noted, rob was trying to move the picks while also not sacrificing all flexibility for the next 7 years, which is smart.

Man I truly hope Green does not end up here. His best days are behind him, and he can’t get along with people, clearly. It’s really not that hard to NOT punch people, I’ve gone my entire life without punching anyone.

I don't mind Green at all (for a low price) truth is Poole is an entitled f**k. He's been on about his extension for a while and you know how some NBA players can get, after a lifetime of sycophants and and kiss-ups they are as entitled as all get out. Green has been a contributor to 4 titles and is watching this punk negotiate for more than he makes. Poole is a b***h but Dray is a bigger b***h.

He’s not coming for a low price though, he’s Klutch so he’s get PAID. I don’t want a 30 mil Green here, just no thanks. He’s still a valuable piece if cheap, I agree there, but he’s also been slowly falling off for a few years now. It’s true his impact isn’t fully told by the box score, but this is currently a 7.5/7/7 player. On a team without Curry, Klay, etc, you need more scoring that that. Now if he came for 10-12 mil, absolutely, but I do not see it, ego is too big. I also don’t care how annoying Poole is, you just ignore it or tell him to shut up, you’re a professional, you make millions to play a game, you don’t punch your teammates.

For us, 10-12 mil is a big deal and Draymond has a 27.6 option next year he won't pass on. No trades are coming down the pipe for him. Totally nonsense at this point. Dubs for life.

as weezy said, he's rapidly declining, and he plays the same position as our two best players. he might be even less sensible than russ if that's possible?

Yeah. I don’t see what Green offers us and I would be concerned about the fit with a laid back guy like AD
