I'm looking forward to the redirection from some of the deadheads in here when the Lakers play the first 20 games with everyone playing, and starting 7-13.

What's the excuse going to be then? Well, we traded THT? GTFOH

And if they are 14-6? Or 15-5?

An Eastern exec speculates to Bucher that Miami could be an option for Russ

We just need to wait for Ariza to get healthy and then we’ll be golden

Let me add some of this verbiage for you.

    52% is better than 25%…..unfortunately Westbrook’s shooting closer to 25% from 3.

I don’t care what kind of math you try to use…..Russell numbers are terrible.

Everyone on this board would be signing a different tune….if Russ didn’t stink as bad.

    That’s better.

So what? We won a chip with Caruso shooting 29% and Kuzma 30% from three. Westbrook attempted 3 three point shots a game. Big deal, his 3 pt percentage isn't the problem.

Haha Riley isn’t dumb enough to give up assets for Russ. He’d wait for someone else to do that, buy him out, and then sign him for the minimum.

In attempting to use numbers to justify Russ's existence on the team, you'll find that rather than using math, it's much better to use meth.

OF COURSE Lebron and AD, in regards to their health and one showing no signs of decline at his advanced age while the other returning to being one of the best players in the NBA; are the biggest keys to our success. No one is disputing this. You can make that argument about any team with 2 star players (Durant/Irving in Brooklyn; Jokic/Murray in Denver; Tatum/Brown in Boston; Kawhi/PG across town; etc; etc....

But no, that alone will not make us contenders.

Not trading Westbrook will make this offseason (and subsequently the regular season) and absolute failure....period.

As currently constructed this team seriously lacks shooting and simply has way too many question marks for things to "magically" go right to make it a serious contender.

    It. Isn't. Happening.

Those drinking the Ham "kool-aid" that magically has Westbrook changing his game enough to help this team rather than hurt it this late in his career or are completely writing off the TNT ticking bomb that a newly acquired Beverley will create with him once the losses pile up are in a for a rude awakening.

The last ten days or so, insiders have OVERWHELMINGLY shared this OBVIOUS opinion on the state of things with Westbrook still on board. Out of some 2 dozen predictions shared, there was a lone kool-aid drinker among them and even he had us not making it to the WCF...

If a trade isn't imminent, this is going to be a very long (and disappointing) season...
